Reviewed on 02/09/14. Bottle, 330ml. A dark orange beer with huge white head. Aroma is of spices, caramel, some roasted malt and alcohol. Taste is bitter, especially at the end. Strong alcoholic finish. Maybe too strong? Faint carbonation and considerable astringency. Heavy roasted character.

Bottle. Pours amber with nice head. Slightly sweet aroma. Taste of yellow fruits and a bit of caramel and cereal. A bit too tame; taste is not very well established and finish is disapointingly quasi absent.

Silty sour yeasty and malty aroma. Amber red dark. Foamy white head. Bread and sweet malty flavour. Lots of sugar and caramel flavours. Yeasty aftertaste with some spiceu edge.

bottle @ Cervoise. Hazy orange, off-white head. Yeast aroma with some fruits. Sweet flavour of fruit. Unusual triple but it’s ok

Tastes of malt, caramel. Sweetness dominates throughout, the alcohol shows in a good way. Definitely dry, slightly bitter finish. Has an intense palate.

Stereotypical abbey tripel with peach blonde, hazy robe and stable, yellowish white head. Fruity (pineapple, mango, apple), caramelly, a bit bready, sugary, iron as well; sweetish with sourish hint, somewhat thin body, bit phenolic finish (plastic) with grassy hop bitterishness and not well hidden alcohol. Forgettable example of an otherwise much-beloved style.

A Belgian Tripel beer with a full taste with ah it of caramel. Pours well with a naive frothy head. The aroma is slightly malty and sweet.

Clear amber colored beer. It has a thick layer of white foam. The beer is nice and sweet, no trace of bitterness. The finish is slightly abrupt.
