agl108 (345), Manayunk, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 17, 2008 On draft at Old Eagle. Served as Blanche de Bruxelles. Poured hazy, yellow with fizzy white head. Yeasty with loads of coriander and citrus. Very sweet. Meh, would be good on a hot summer day.
ansermadide (138), Kyle, Texas, USA Jul 8, 2008 (Served as Blanche de Bruxelles from tap at Opal Divine’s on July 7, 2008) Yellowish-green color, almost like a freaky lemonade in appearance. Cloudy like one, too. Little head, not much lacing… bad pour, perhaps. Unique look and aroma. Smells uncommonly of spice and citrus…. so much that it’s fairly sour. Taste is extremely sour, and has properties similar to lemon/honey cold medicine. The kind that coats the throat. Light body, but vibrant palate! IrishBoy (2013), Bakersfield, California, USA Jul 7, 2008 Draft at Seattle International Beer Fest as Blanche de Bruxelles; Very light spices and wheaty yeastiness; hazy gold with a small white head; flavor is yeast, very light tartness, very light spiciness, and light hop bitterness. thill25 (150), Orlando, Florida, USA Jul 2, 2008 11.2 oz bottle labeled Blanche de Bruxelles...Pale, hazy yellow with a lasting, pillowy, white head with some soapy lacing. The nose was coriander, spice, and citrus. The flavor was lemon, wheat, spice, and some doughy yeast. Palate was thin, watery, sweet, and had a lasting sweet finish. Almost like a wit light...very bland. Not a bad beer, but wouldn’t go out of my way to purchase. Might be a good introductory beer for macro drinkers... azlondon (457), Greater London, England Jul 1, 2008 Appearance: Hazy, light golden. Nice, white head. Lots when warmer.
Aroma: Lemon and orange. Some wheat, hint of yeast.
Taste: Fruit and lemon. Crisp. Wheat. Dry finish.
