Ungstrup (11713), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 22, 2003 The aroma is very fresh with strong notes of lemon and corriander and fainter notes of yeast. The color is an unclear pale orange - it has a big bubbly but extremely fast disappearing head. Enjoy the head and the aroma as long as it lasts. The flavor is sweet and dominated by wheat with notes of lemon, corriander, and earth. It ends on a dry wheaty notes. A really good Witbier - one of the best I've had. Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 29, 2005 (Bottle 25 cl) Pale yellow, bordering grey due to the loads of unclean impurities. Nice fluffy head. Some citrusy freshness with a dash of coriander I reckon, although it’s not overly spiced. Fresh alright but far from the most distinctive witbier. 020498 omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Jan 31, 2002 Very pale and hazy. Dry and refreshing with seville orange flavours.
yespr (7817), Copenhagen O, Denmark Feb 12, 2008 33 cL bottle, thanks to MiP. Pours slight hazy yellow with a dense white head. Citrus fruity and coriander spiced aroma. Flavour is light wheaty, citrus/lemon fruity and coriander spiced, simple and straight forward. Ends with a lingering citrus note. A bit thin bodied. Oakes (7032), Miami Beach, Florida, USA May 16, 2001 I found this rather peppery and not all that interesting.
