Troebele oranjegele kleur met een volle en blijvende kraag. Ruikt zoetig, hop, fruitig. Smaakt fruitig, hop, kruiden en iets zoetig.

750 mL bottle. I’m a fan of the style, with Christoffel Nobel being the epitome, in my books. This is good, but not in that league. Hazy, pale gold with a large, quickly receding, white head. Some wheat, earthiness, and eruo hops in the nose. The flavour is mild, and surprisingly uninteresting. Nothiong off; just boring. It tastes like a beer half of its size.

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2014 Not impressed, lager-like but with a more pronounced sourness and slightly bitter kick. Taste quickly fades. Irratic and excessive foam from pooring, be gentle in this respect. This equally holds for the cap, which produces a pronounced "plop" when removed which resembles of champagne in terms of loudness. Update: giving this another chance, old rating was 2.1. Bottle. Pours a pilsener color, again crazy foam. Aromas of pilsener, freshly mowed grass, quite refreshing. Nothing really really special, I’m keeping Aroma at 5. Taste is bitter, like a pilsner on steroids. Likewise, there is a lot more taste evolution in this respect, here, it is not as bad as I first thought. Upgrading palate from 2 to 4, taste from 4 to 5. Aftertaste is sweet at first but turns sour and slightly bitter. I would recommend this if you are in the mood for a special pilsener.

750 mL bottle from LCBO shared by my brother. Hazy deep golden with a frail, rocky white head. Nice, pungent noble hops, quite peppery and phenolic, like a Saison, sweet honey, some alcohol, wheat and grains. Similar flavor but with more malt presence; finishes sweet with pretty good bitterness and a nice spicy, sweet finish.

Bottle from de Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer is blond / copper colored and has a large white head, CO2 level is good. The aroma is fruity, with tones of citrus fruits, some hops and a little caramel. The taste is bitter and fresh with tones of hops, and there is also some sweetness from the fruits. This all together is well balanced. The finish is bitter and long and is pretty nice. A well IPA, but not bitter enough, although the idea is good.

Very thick white head. Pours a cloudy orange, lovely bitter kick on finish, but head hides the aroma.
