Lekker hopbier met veel koolzuur. Iets te veel schuim, dat echter vrij rap wegtrekt. Smaak en geur zijn gelijklopend, hop! In tegenstelling tot andere hopbieren geen citrustoets.

Golden blond and hazy with a huge white head lasting throughout the glass. This head NEVER gave up. Extremely effervescent with a wheat overtone in the flavor. Very bright and flavorful, light and easy to drink.

codfishh (58) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 4, 2014
Poured from a 750ml bottle, huge fluffy white head, lots of lacing on the glass, hazy pale gold in color. Aroma is of bready malt and honey with some light phenols. Flavor is very peppery to start giving way to some nice malt sweetness, the beer is malt forward but still balanced. Medium body with lively spritY carbonation. Overall its a very nice beer, peppery like a Saison but the malt profile is closer to a Belgian blond.

Metalchopz (2261) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 2, 2014
Single bottle from the LCBO with 8.3% ABV. and best before L14112015. Pours a cloudy golden-yellow colour with a white head, good retention and some patchy foam lace. Aromas start off on the malty side, but eventually, grass appears with mild yeast. The herbal notes come out a little bit more in the taste, giving some decent bitterness. This creates a small dryness in the mouthfeel. Spicy flavours making this one a total Belgian hoppy beer, and not a North American experience.

750 ml cork and cage. Hazy yellow colour with huge effervescence that lasts a while. Lots of esters and yeasty notes with some pepper that reminds me a good saison. On the palate the flavours are enhanced by the CO2 with yeast, spice and a bitter leafy almost bark like bitterness. The flavours would almost remind me of a strong lager. Overall an enjoyable brew and surprisingly bitter that makes it memorable for me. good stuff.

Troebele oranjegele kleur met een volle en blijvende kraag. Ruikt zoetig, hop, fruitig. Smaakt fruitig, hop, kruiden en iets zoetig.

750 mL bottle. I’m a fan of the style, with Christoffel Nobel being the epitome, in my books. This is good, but not in that league. Hazy, pale gold with a large, quickly receding, white head. Some wheat, earthiness, and eruo hops in the nose. The flavour is mild, and surprisingly uninteresting. Nothiong off; just boring. It tastes like a beer half of its size.
