It’s hazy golden with a huge, white, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of citrus, yeast, malt and fruit. The flavour is moderate sweet with a light, dry bitterness and notes of candy sugar, citrus, caramel, yeast and the finish is rather long with a dry bitterness.

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2011 Nice looking foamy head an golden clear body. Lots of herbs in aroma; earthy and a hint of alcohol. Strong bitterness, but still fresh. Perfect carbonation, oily texture. Delightful beer. Bottle looks good to, so a nice gift as well. (Cost 2,50 EUR) Re-rate: found it a little astringent this time around. Still nice but a sourness that you’d rather have the beginning of the night than in the end...

Pours bright golden with a thin foamy off-white head. Notes of pear, champagne, herbs, fruity esters, honey and bubble gum. Full bodied with soft, foamy carbonation.

Bottle. Thanks to hobbersr for sharing! Pours cloudy yellow with a snow white head, 1-finger thick. Reduces to a very persistent skim, poor/spotty lacing. Nose is bubblegum, pilsner malt, quite mild, perfumed hops. Hops ae much more pronounced in the mouth, plus banana, bubblegum, lemon meringue, yeast, a bit short on the finish. Somewhere between Piraat and Duvel. Good.

Bottle from the Downers Grove, IL, Binny’s Beverage Depot: Nice bottle. The beer has a somewhat hazed golden body with a BIG sudsy/rocky head that evaporates in chunks leaving gobs of lace on the glass. The aroma is a bit too sweet for me - honey & rock candy with bananas & peaches. The flavor’s much nicer, light bready malt, fruity, with a touch of floral/citric bitterness. It finishes on a honeyed note, but then delivers a pippish bitter punch. Not bad, but I think if my schnozz was a bit less stuffed, I’d like it less because of the aroma.

A bottle that made it’s way back in my luggage from Belgium. Purchased at 2Be in Brugges. The bottle was definitely fresh. Pours yellow with a large rocky head. The aroma is sweet, herbal and grassy. The flavor has honey, grapefruit, grass, candi sugar and a nice bitter finish. Quite nice.

Swingtop from Dranken Geers. Brilliant gold with a bleached white meringue of head stringing the glass with lace; only a very fine veil of sediment visible even after the bottle has been fully upturned. Strange and pleasant concoction oscillating between honeyed Belgian sweetness and lean piney hop; aroma pure polished tabletop, gingerbread, grass cuttings and marmalade- green, orange, jammy and resinous. Flavour soap and spruce; bittersweet and coniferous with bags of wood sap and a hint of disinfectant. Zero alcohol. Fine, surprising brew that proves a beer doesn’t have to have 140 IBUs and taste like breakfast juice to be hoppy, in a sweetened N.German pils-meets-Tripel kind of way, admittedly. Unusual and slightly beautiful.

Hazy watery golden pour, thick lasting soapy head. Subtle hops aroma, hints of fruit. Strong bitter hops taste, slight sour fruit. Short hop aftertaste.

Flip-cap bottle.
Pours a nice, thick light cheddar yellow with a dense, frothy white head. Aroma sweet, raisiny modeling glue with a hint of banana and light clove. Flavor is bready lemon-peach with a hint of vegetable in the finish. Slight alcohol bite in the finish. Average mouthfeel. Not a bad beer; lighter in taste than the ABV indicates.

Drink at Leuven. Nice Golden colour, it came with one big glass and a another shot glass which includes the last part of the beer. I actually taste them both them and mix them. Well nice herby and fruity aromas with little touch of honey and aromatic herbes. The taste is hoppy and slightly bitter but a mild finish ... Very nice beer could be a nice night starter..
