Bottle, poured into the majestic Hopus glass. Formed a huge head, fitting the glass exactly. Aroma of some citrus.. hard to describe. There is some yeast involved, bit fruity. Subtle body.. easy going. Hard to detect the alcohol. Flavour is medium bitter with a nice hoppy bite.

Bottle. Poured clear yellow color with a large frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate complex fruit and citrus aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Solid balanced yeast and sour citrus flavor with a medium sweet & sour finish of moderate duration. This is a smooth complex beer

Leighton (18032) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 2, 2011
Bottle at home in London. Pours a cloudy gold with a large, tight, pure white head. Aroma holds caramel, slight tangy citrus, mild cardboard, candi. Medium sweet flavor, cardboardy bread, sugar, caramel, some grass and fruity bitterness. Medium bodied with big carbonation. Warm finish, more doughy malts, fresh tang, light sweetness, a clean but awkward bitterness. Not bad.

Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 08/25/2011. The beer is a golden color with a medium thick and fluffy white head that recedes slowly. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of fruit, molasses and hops. Medium body with a mildly spicy hops character and notes of sweet fruit and malt. The finish is short and lightly hoppy. Just average overall.

Bottle sample at the Belgian IPA tasting at Ale Wine & Spirits on 8/25/11. Clear, yet chunky gold pour with a medium white head. Aroma of berries, honey and esters. Sweet honey flavor with some marshmallow character and crisp hop contributing to a semi-dry finish.

blankboy (7134) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 25, 2011
Bottle at Au Brasseur, Brussels. Pours a very bubbly copper-gold with a massive lasting fizzy white head. Aroma is sweet, hoppy and a bit vegetal (I get canned peas), also grassy and herbal. Flavour’s better and easy to drink, it’s grainy along with a decent amount of hops, though not as hoppy as they proclaim. Alcohol is well hidden, in fact I had no idea the abv was as high as it was. Average bodied. I found this just good, not great.

POLK (2219) - Hørning, DENMARK - AUG 22, 2011
Belgian strong ale with a good peach / mango flavor. The taste is slightly hoppy and gives a good special taste.
