Bottle, popped with a bang, slight gusher. Clear golden pour, very thick foamy white head leaving lacing. Aroma is of Belgian hops, spices, yeast and some light fruits. Flavor is slightly sweet, quite bitter, spicy and with quite some Belgian hops. Very lively carbonation and a creamy to bubbly texture.

DalzAle (1999) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - AUG 14, 2010
Bottle. Over carbonated clear golden yellow pour, and an aroma of sweet sugary malt. Flavor is also sweet malt\, syrupy peaches, hay and finished dry, bitter and a little warming with booze on the aftertaste. Not bad at $5/bottle.

kidmartinek (3742) - austin, Texas, USA - AUG 8, 2010
Light cloudy lemonade yellow. Obnoxious white head wont let the beer show through. Malty nose. Is this supposed to be a belgian? A little bit of hop resin. A confused beer, where yhe hops or the malt can dominate and win. The foamy head is the mosr entertaining partf of this beer. The body is quite heavy and the finish... pucker.

Golden orange with a foamy white head... Citrus and floral aroma... Flavor is citrus sweetness, alcohol content is fairly apparent, not much bitterness on the palate... Dont really know why they call it hopus, theres only a hint of bitterness on the finish... Decent

Bottle, Open All Hours, Keswick. Foaming and livey ale, with plenty of sugary sweetness. Some faintly burnt caramel underlying, with a bit of butterscotch and toffee apple in there too. Warming finish, with some apple flavour and a touch of copper in the roof of the mouth.

BeerandBlues2 (10065) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - JUL 22, 2010
Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a low, frothy white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, straw), heavy hop (flowers, perfume, citrus), moderate yeast (dough, earth) with notes of pear, pear, pineapple, and oak. Flavor is well balanced malt and hops with a lingering bitterness and good yeast complexity. Medium carbonation, medium body, and a dry, spicy finish.

yngwie (14069) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 19, 2010
Bottle. An almost clear beer, golden in color, and topped by a big, lasting off-white head with quite big bubbles. Some lacings occur. The aroma is sweetish and slightly toffee-ish. Hops and fruityness gives it some balance. The flavor is fruity, silghtly citrusy and sugary. Some bitterness and alcohol warmth are also fitted in. Medium to full body. Bitter finish. Not a very interesting one, rather mediocre actually. 100327
