(33 cl bottle at Karlissen, Leuven) Presentation is very special with a big glass for the beer and a small glass for the rests in the bottle. Aroma is really hoppy, taste is decently bitter. Fine beer for once, wouldn’t drink two though.

Gold, small head. Pear and apple aroma, sweet honey too. Alcoholic taste. Acetone. Flour. Very simple, doesn’t excite my tastebuds at all.

(Bottled) Hazy golden with a huge, cloud-forming head. Acidic aroma with pale maltiness and grassy hops. Moderately bitter, grassy and dry flavor with pale malt and lots of acidity. Light to medium body with some alcohol burn and quite high carbonation. Doesn’t matter how many different hops you use, if you don’t know how to combine the flavors. Feels like a Belgian pale ale with slightly emphasized German pils hopping. The head was very nice, though. Drinkable, but not very refined.

Bottle @ Grote Witte Arend.
Pours lightly hazy golden with a nice creamy white head. Cool that the beer is served along with a small glass for a "yeast-shot". Aroma is a bit sharp, some hops, lots of yeast. Highish carbonation, light dryness. Flavour is lightly hoppy, yeasty, some biscuity malts. Like many other Belgian attempts, the yeast is too present for an IPA, but fine as a hoppy blond.

On tap @ de Wildeman. Unclear, golden body with a small white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, citrus fruity and grass. Flavor is smooth malty, caramel, fruity, bitter and a bit spicy. Relatively light, refreshing and balanced.

Flip top bottle poured a nice fluffy white head with a golden color. There is a pear taste present followed by a bitter dry aftertaste. Not as hoppy as you would expect for a beer with this name, but very good regardless. Most Belgium beers that claim to be hoppy fall short for USA standards but there is definately a nice hop presence. The overwhelming carbonation added a bit of dryness as well.

From bottle at Oud Arsenaal, Antwerpen, with the sediment served separately in a shot glass. Hazy golden with a small head. Fresh fruity aroma, hints of green apples. Great fruity flavours combined with a hoppy punch. Green apples flavours. Lives up to its name.
