This is like one of the "craft beers" we get in the states that actually suck but since they are marketed as being not mass produced, people who know little about beer buy them and think they are high end. Flying Dog for instance or Dogfish Head. This pours a glowing clear yellow that becomes a light hazy with the yeast added. The head towers like ice cream and sits there almost indefinitely. Aroma is lemon zest. Taste is meh. Palate is meh. Light bodied- a bit contrived.

Bottle in Belgium. Clearish golden with a white head. Aroma is noble hops, citrus and light malt. Flavor is bitter hops with light malt and spice. Light body and almost sparkling. Not bad, fairly bitter and balanced.

33 cl bottle @ Den Hoorn, Kapelle-op-den-Bos Hoppy aroma, fruit, lime, but all in all very subtle. I loved the aroma. Clear blond, lovely sparkling, huge white head, lasting, lacing. You get the last bit of the bottle in a shot-glass, so you can choose whatever you do, pour it in or not. I did it after a few sips. Fruity taste, a bit bitter (more with the shot), subtle again, citrus. Bitterness comes at the end and stays quite long. Fizzy mouthfeel. Good beer.

A beer’s appearance can’t possibly get better. The yeasty deposit on the bottom of the bottle is served on the side in a shot glass. The main course is served in its own glass with a great golden cristal clear (becomes cloudy if you add the yeast deposit) colour and a truly epic foamy head with great retention. Rarely seen something like it. Smells of alcohol with grass and hops. When you taste it, the alcohol is nowhere to be seen, it is completely hidden. Citrus and floral hops roll over your tongue. The bitterness is very very subtle until it develops in the aftertaste. Feels creamy with a hint of yeasty sweet banana. Aftertaste is mostly hoppy bitter and leaves little to be desired. Great. Beer.

UPDATED: MAY 10, 2013 Alles gemiddeld, zoet bitter, zeer zacht en soepel. Nergens uitgesproken, lekker doordrinkend, beetje anoniem.

Pours a golden beer with a big rocky white head. Smells like a usual strong one. Herbs and grassy. The taste is also average. Bit sweet and bitter. I like the palate. Good carbo and a sticky texture.
