750 ml corked bottle...pours dark amber w/ a fizzy, white head. The aroma was a mix of sour white grapes, apples, caramel, and some alcohol. The flavor was exactly the same, but with some added metallics. The palate was sweet up front, but with a bitter bite near on the mid and a lingering alcohol sweetness on the finish. The beer seemed watered down and the flavors were all skewed by the alcohol. Not a terrible beer, but not the first Belgian Strong I’d reach for...

Clear yellow-orange pour with lots of bubbles. Clove-banana aroma. Lots of banana on the tongue with some alcohol to finish. Simple, but tasty beer.

Lovely dark amber appearance. Ideal medium lasting head. Honey and smoky bacon aroma. Strong caramel/smoky start leading to an alcohol/honey aftertaste. Reminds me of English pubs pre smoking ban. Not too complex - would rather go for Grimbergen ’La Reserve’. Good strong beer nonetheless.

Pours deep amber, white mostly diminishing head. Candy caramel nose, very sweet smelling. Sweet tasting too, some malt and yeast there but really no distinct flavours to speak of.

Thinn foam over a coppe-amber ale. Nice belgian aroma. Much sparkling mothfeel. Big malty taste with a well balanced bitterness.

Aroma of malt, suger and alchol. Small white head that do not lasts for so long, sticks to the sides af the glass. Amber and clear in the glass. Typical Leffe taste, sweet and drinkable, but also some alchol in the finish.
