sweet malty with some midly hop character. Basically a bigger, heavier version of the blonde. Slightly cloying. Not special IMO.

Has a reddish, amber color, with a perfect sized, froth head. Aromas are slightly spiced, reminding me instantly of a german Hefeweizen, with bready, dough yeast and banana - altough it tends to be a little bit sweeter. Drinks extremely smooth, due to its soft yeast foundation. Taste is between sweet honeyed malts and peppery spices. The banana from the nose is still there, but perfectly wrapped up by slightly hot spices, vanilla and honey. Has a perfect fitting, lively carbonation with a medium body. Finishes with a toffee, clove spiced sweetness, and some slightly biting peppers.
