Has a reddish, amber color, with a perfect sized, froth head. Aromas are slightly spiced, reminding me instantly of a german Hefeweizen, with bready, dough yeast and banana - altough it tends to be a little bit sweeter. Drinks extremely smooth, due to its soft yeast foundation. Taste is between sweet honeyed malts and peppery spices. The banana from the nose is still there, but perfectly wrapped up by slightly hot spices, vanilla and honey. Has a perfect fitting, lively carbonation with a medium body. Finishes with a toffee, clove spiced sweetness, and some slightly biting peppers.

Amber, fruity aroma, with little lasting foam. Balanced flavor and with marked spicy notes. Not surprisingly, a good example of the style.

Bottle. Clear golden with medium white head. Lots of cloves and sweet malts, sugary, light spices and light herbal finish. Very sweet. Not that bad but again I'm not a fan of the typical Leffe yeast taste.

Helder gouden bier met beige schuimkraag. Zoet, karamel en alcohol in de neus. Smaak is zoet met karameltoets. Zoete alcoholische afdronk. ’t Is ne straffe Leffe...
