3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
33cl bottle at home. Beautiful brown, red, ruby beer with firm beige collar. Besides the malt character, the taste also has clear notes of dark spices - even some black pepper - and some vanilla or cream. The earth features are typically for this brand, but this brew also has a sharp bitterness I really did not expect in a dark Leffe. Not that sweet, which is a welcome feature. Beautifully medium bodied, though I might have been a bit stronger, and therefor a good drinker. The palate however lacks a proper ending.

Bue en bouteille de 75cl. Ambrée foncée, mousse blanche. Nez caramel. Arômes de sucre, de caramel et d'épices au palais.
Pas trop sucrée étonnamment mais déséquilibrée et peu agréable au palais.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Greet beer. Dark amber colored. Nice layer of foam which covers the beer til the end. The beer is sweet, like a christmas ale is supposed to. Nice hints of red fronts and spices. I seriously recommend this beautiful beer.
