With its amber color, fruity and spicy bouquet, and its creamy foam, Leffe Biere de Noel is a beer full of character. Very expected during the holiday season, it continues the tradition of master brewers who kept their best barley and hops to brew once a year. Leffe Biere de Noel makes your aperitif a moment of intense flavor.

this is actually what I expect in a christmas beer. a darker color that could be called amber. sweet caramel with a slight bitter background. Medium to big sized maltiness. fun beer to try since Ive never seen this one around bitburg, germany.

Bottled 330ml. -Straight from the bottle somewhere in Brussels. Light notes of spices in the nose. Moderate roasted malty, candy sugar and spices with notes of cinammon and dark fruits. A bit too sweet but overall good Nol.

This dark brown beer poured with a generous fluffy beige head and a toffee aroma this is pretty good for a Leffe. There is a nice roasted malt flavor with some bitterness at the finish.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and dark golden brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted breadish malty. Subdued sweet flavoured with a light spice note coming through. Roasted and spiced flavoured into the far finish. Caramelish and light herbal bitter far finish.

Bottle at Taverne t Botteltje in Oostend. As Leffe Kerstbier. Pours orange brown with a good beige head. Something of an evergreen aroma. Medium body with very frothy carbonation. Flavor is roast caramel with some evergreen note and some xmas type spice. But not overstated. Drinks better than many Leffes.

This beer is up there with the best of the winter beer. Its got a lovely warming flavor to it, with hints of christmas pudding. The head dissipates rather quickly, but other than that, its an excellent beer.

Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of kappldav123. Appearance: It pours a beautiful clear ruby beer with a nicely lasting creamy beige head. Nice lacework. Aroma: Inviting, smooth, subtle and very christmassy. Yeast accentuated, sweet with hints of cherry, molasses, candy sugar, fennel, nutmeg, quite a lot of fudge, cinnamon, tobacco, stuffy sitting room, coconut and coriander. Pleasant. Flavor and palate: Low carbonation. Sweet and very smooth. Medium bodied. Very drinkable. Extremely low bitterness. Yeast driven. Rather interesting. Caramel, cinnamon, walnuts, tobacco, nutmeg and fennel showing up. Sweet yeasty finish with which is reminiscent of marmite and arabic gum. Overall impression: Better than I expected. Thanks kappldav123!

It is dark amber with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, candy sugar, yeast and light spice and dark fruits. The flavour has sweetness and the same notes as the aroma, but also evident alcohol and the finish is rather spicy.

bottle, pours amber, medium off white head. Aroma is carmel malt, some cinnamon and clove. Bready malt, some nut flavor with a heavy spice, some pepper and hot cinnamon its definately a red hot or hot tamalles kind of burn. Not at all bad, just a little simple.
