COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With its amber color, fruity and spicy bouquet, and its creamy foam, Leffe Biere de Noel is a beer full of character. Very expected during the holiday season, it continues the tradition of master brewers who kept their best barley and hops to brew once a year. Leffe Biere de Noel makes your aperitif a moment of intense flavor.

Bottle from Cocktails, Littleborough. Chestnut-red with a frothy head. Includes winter fruity pale malts in both aroma and taste with the former sightly more stated in this respect.

UPDATED: DEC 18, 2015 The beer pours a soft almond colored foam, which collapses extremely fast. Only a little bit of foam forms, and a minimal bit of foam remains on top of the bear. The color of the beer is dark amber. The beer is nice and clear, very clear. The smell is nice, but very mild. Almost like water was aded to the beer, which is odd, because it came in the bottle (without the cap though). The smell has a little almond and some hops in it. The beer has the typical Leffe aroma, like all Leffe beers. This makes the smell somehow familiar, which is nice. The taste is better. I taste lemons, and a tiny bitter smoke flavor, together with some hops. The beer has a nice bitterness, balanced perfectly by the sweetness. There is also the typical Leffe flavor. The flavor is not strong enough though, it is not as good as aspects. It is not as fruity, sweet, spicy and warming as I aspect from a Christmas ale. A little disappointing, a pity.

Nespressoish minidraught@Geers 02/2015 - a very late Feb Xmas, thirsty after biking. Rubybrown pour. Nose of gentle liquid caramel, candied cherry, cinnamon. Drinks quite easily and none too syrupy, wihout a real yeast signature almost like lemonade, leaving nice dulcet, filtered but palatecoating traces of fruitcake, honey, cherries, spiced caramel without ever really becoming cloying. Nice little spiced hop presence there as well. Not half bad actually, for kLeffe. Although I do wonder if Xmas beers are supposed to be this good thirstquenchers.

*Old rating, best before 16/03/10.

Ladne piwo - piekna barwa brazowo-miedziana ze szkarlatnymi przeblyskami, bujna piana (niestety redukuje sie do obraczki w kilka minut), brudzi szklo... Aromat dublowo-swiateczny - rodzynki, banany, puietnikowo, karmelowo, przyprawowo. jakies inne kwaskowate owoce, karmel (po lekkim ogrzaniu), slod... bardzo fajnie zlozony. Smak podobnie - karmelowa slodkosc, slodowosc, owocowa kwaskowatosc, rodzynki, piernikowo-przyprawowe klimaty. Dosc wytrawne, wysokie wysycenie (szczypie w jezyk), niska goryczka. Sumarycznie: troche jak leffe brune, tyle ze nieco a) rozwodnione (i to psuje odbior) b) dodane przyprawy. Wole brune, ale Noel tez przyjemne
