COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With its amber color, fruity and spicy bouquet, and its creamy foam, Leffe Biere de Noel is a beer full of character. Very expected during the holiday season, it continues the tradition of master brewers who kept their best barley and hops to brew once a year. Leffe Biere de Noel makes your aperitif a moment of intense flavor.

Solide! 9/11/11/11/8/11

Bottle at post pre ZBF, bought at an all night shop in Bruges. Some cardboard on aroma, some fruit in mouth. Not particularly great, but just about ok.

Bottle. Its a clear, copper-colored beer topped by a beige head. Dried fruits and some alcohol on the nose. Full-bodied and nicely carbonated. Sweet, caramel flavor with a balancing bitterness. Dreid fruits and dark sugars too. Bitter finish with roast malts and sweetness. Overall, a nice beer considering its brewer, but its too anonymous to be really good. Rating: 6-3-6-4-13-3.2. 100326

Bottle. A clear, dark amber to brown beer with a minimal beige head. Dried fruits, raisins and figs, with brown sugar and caramel. Some alcohol notes. Its full-bodied and slightly warming, too sugary, but quite well-tasting. Slightly roasted, some spiced notes and also some caramel and a good dash of dried fruits. But too sweet. Sweet finish with dried fruits, alcohol notes and brown sugar. A nice beer indeed, but a bit on the sweet side. The aroma is definately the best of it. 100711

Bottled 330ml (BZ, BB 09/2012)
Deep ruby color, good off-white, cloudy head, lace. Aroma is woody, grassy, a bit papery and with notes of alcohol. Medium-bodied. Malty, semi-sweet with berryish notes, hops, grass and some nuttyness too. Typical Leffe: "ok" but not very exciting Belgian Xmas brew.
