Bottled. Dark brown color. Malty aroma with hints of spices. Malty sweet, alcoholic, spicy flavor. Nutmeg, cinnamon, cardemom. Sticky mouthfeel. Satisfyingly balanced. Better as expected.

Bottle. copper colour with a beige head. Aroma is dried fruit, caramel, sugar. candis sugar. Flavour is dried fruits, caramel, sugar, candis sugar, alcohol, spices.Nice beer.

Verhaltener, später deutlicherer Malzantrunk, in dem süße und verbrannte Malznoten zu gleichen Teilen enthalten sind. Nach diesem durchaus angenehmen Antrunk stagniert das Bier und ruht sich auf der süßlichen Malzigkeit aus. Wenig getreidig, auch der Alkohol ist ganz leicht spürbar. Getürbt wird das bisher positive Bild durch den trockenen und leicht bitteren Abgang, der nicht zu der vorher herrschenden Süße passenden will. Solide! 9/11/11/11/8/11

A clear brown ale with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, maderized malt with caramel notes, honey. In mouth, a sweet nutty malt with faint herbs, coriander, cloves, light bodied, tired. Bieropholie import.

33 cl bottle. Clear dark brown with medium tan head. Flavour is malt, caramel, dry, yeast and sweet.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, ruby amber colour with a big and tanned foamy head. Sweet and slightly toasted malty aroma with bready and subtle fruity notes, as well as a spicy touch. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Malty taste with notes of caramel, bread, chestnuts and shy berry-fruity notes; sweet and slightly bitter nutty and slightly spicy finish. Not world-shaking but pretty drinkable. 15.XI.10

6 Sweet bananabread aroma, some butter on that.
4 Rich red, self-supporting tight head.
6 Cakey, caramelly and buttery. Not bad at all. Maybe a touch sweet, but forgivable for a christmas beer.
3 Sweet sugary palate, pleasant carbonation. Very simple sweet finish with some cut mixed peel and very emasculated hops.
12 Lacking real character, but certainly not actually bad in any way. As a mass-produced product, this actually good.

Draught at Belgobaren, Stockholm. Amber color, nice lasting offwhite head. Malty caramel aroma, fruity, apples, sourish notes, grapes and some toffee notes. Fruity flavor, bready, some grapes, some yeast, some hops.

(draught) Colour of coca-cola, little head, but very lacey. Nice perfumed nose, biscuit, caramel or Sachertorte, but fresher. Medicinal, bit piney flavour. Sweet aftertaste, like a cola gum. Bit thinnish structure, but the body is there. Alcohol too, even when 6.5 isn't all that high. Better than feared, but far from great.
