With its amber color, fruity and spicy bouquet, and its creamy foam, Leffe Biere de Noel is a beer full of character. Very expected during the holiday season, it continues the tradition of master brewers who kept their best barley and hops to brew once a year. Leffe Biere de Noel makes your aperitif a moment of intense flavor.

A Mes rate. Bottle at mums on Boxing Day.
Ruby Amber colour with a thin film topping. Burnt plastic and sugar aroma with lots of dull yeast. Tastes like the regular leffe blonde with a touch of caramel malt and some more burnt sugar. Awful medicinal finish.

Ben c’est de la biere de noel qui goute le sucre et l’epice. Foncierement ca manque un peu de caractère :)

Bottle shared by Robert at the SSSSLT. Pour was amber-ruby colored, small head with weak retention. The aroma was candy sweet darker fruits, some bubblegum type elements maybe too. The flavor followed the aroma, just a nastily sweet beer, although not syrupy thick or anything. Might as well spike a drink box if you want something like this. Mouthfeel was low on carbonation, a little bit of that stickiness. Thanks again Robert, a great SSSSLT! I think we’re back to the SSSLT nomenclature after this one!

Pours a a dark red color with a small off white head that desapeared quickly. Aroma of malts and some sweet red fruit sirup and some spices. Flavors is a bit metal, with roasted malts, a hint of red fruits, some caramel and spices. Good carbonation, with a sweet bitterness. A little to sweet and the over taste of sirup is clear. Its drinkable but nothing great.

[Draught] Brown coloured. Very bad yeasty aroma. Sweet and yeasty flavour. Thin. Very bad. I understand why the Belgians send all of this to France.

3 x 330 ml horizontal tasting Bière de Noël - 9° - Ruby Bière De Noël: pours clear amber. bland bland aroma with a bit of spice, not different from the blonde. Smells bad. Medoum body, low carbonation, small touch of spice. No taste. Really, no taste. 1/5 9°: pours blond to yellow, thin fizzy head. Light honey & malt aromas (but had to smell my nose off). Sweet body all the way through the end. Light malty taste. Mèh. 1.9/5 Ruby: pours light red with an amber hue. Aroma... f*** - groce: artificial cherry bubblegum. Sweet body but - pasteurised and filtered like hell - render it sweet/sour in a weirdly and groce way. Taste is rosewater. Bad rosewater. Aftertaste is sticky gum. 0.5/5
