With its amber color, fruity and spicy bouquet, and its creamy foam, Leffe Biere de Noel is a beer full of character. Very expected during the holiday season, it continues the tradition of master brewers who kept their best barley and hops to brew once a year. Leffe Biere de Noel makes your aperitif a moment of intense flavor.

Bottle. Clear reddish brown body with a medium light brown head. Sweet malty aroma with some yeasty and dark fruity notes. Notes of berries in flavour with lots of sweetness. A malty brew that is not very xmas like but drinkable.

First rating for 2005! On tap at Cafe Leffe in Arras, France. Red-brown with a good beige heady. Sweet yeasty aroma. Flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, carmel. Thin and watery. Uninteresting. Not a great beer, but by no means bad.

Bottled: Sweet and malty, with a pleasing bitterness and fruity vinous undertones, but a little too heavy on the spices - cloves? nutmeg? Pleasant enough but nothing special.

Bottle. Pours a dark red, nice beige head, medium size. Nose is sweet malts, vanilaa, slight alcohol and also slight spice. Flavor is raisins and toffee, small bitterness on the finish. Ok, smooth and clean perhaps too much so.

bottle, pours amber, medium off white head. Aroma is carmel malt, some cinnamon and clove. Bready malt, some nut flavor with a heavy spice, some pepper and hot cinnamon it’s definately a red hot or hot tamalles kind of burn. Not at all bad, just a little simple.
