Commercial Description:
Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

330ml. Goloden amber in colour with 2 fingers of rocky white foam. Clear with good carbonation. Aroma of cinnamon, spice and cloves. Sweet tatse with a crisp clean aftertaste.

12 oz bottle, pours a hazy golden color. Aroma is sweet and spicy. Flavor is rather bitter with a little sweetness and malt noticeable. Palate is rough but the body is very full and satisfying. Good brew.

This beer has a very distinctive aroma and flavor. You either like it or dislike it. I like it, but not as much as I was hoping for. The aroma and flavor are both powerful with that special banana taste. It’s almost too strong which makes me think about some kind of perfume as the beer approaches my mouth. Overall the beer is not bad, but it’s not a beer that I’ll drink every weekend.

The damn near perfect beer. Pours nice golden color and drinks like a dream. Has a real subtle spice flavor that isn’t too intense. A little pricey but well worth it.

Bottle. Pours a gold color with a large, foamy, clingy, white head that slowly fades. Lots of bubbless coming from the bottom. Taste is of bananas, fruit, yeast, some alcohol, and some malt. Similar, but lighter aroma. Finish is kind of dry. Very easy to drink and is rather satisfying. Worth picking up every now and then.

Light brown, amber coloured beer with a thick and foamy white head. Fruity aroma (resulting from the yeast) of bananas and maybe cherries, very lively. Good malt and yeast in the flavour, turning to a lightly sweet, somewhat watery ending; the bitterness comes in nice. The mouthfeel is slightly too fizzy for my liking and the aroma turns a bit metallic in the end. Enjoyable.

bottle, golden colour, very nice head, sweet, yeasty, grainy. But the leffe blond has no balls.
