Aroma has notes of banana, caramel, coriander, floral hops. Taste is sweet...coriander, clove and citrus on the tongue. Finishes dry and hoppy...a little alchol burn.
I liked this one. Tastes similar to the American Blonde Ales I’ve had but a fuller body. skoll (127), Traverse City, Michigan, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 2, 2009 this was a smaple beer from a vendor... poured into a tulip glass from 11oz bottle Pale golden yellow, hazy with an extremely long lasting white head. Fairly weak aroma with yeasty notes and some slight spiciness and fruit. Sweet and malty, well balanced with a nice hop bite and medium bitterness. Finishes long and very sweet, but not too sweet. A very good lighter Belgian ale. vr6pilot (4), , Germany does not count | 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/20 | May 2, 2009 Strongly carbonated it leaves a sharp tingle in the mouth and gives the drinker a metallic taste sensation...as if it had been alcohol’d with cheap vodka. The colour is attractive and classy looking: a clear slightly orangey amber. Overall, not terribly fond of this brew but it does have a lovely bottle. JediMindTricks (240), Hampton, Virginia, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 28, 2009 Aroma is nicely fruity, yeast, an apple scent, bubble gum, and pretty nicely spiced all around. Appearance is clear and golden with an ever so slight hint of amber, and a thick white head that lingers. Taste is fruity, bread, yeast, somewhat grainy, and an overall nice clean taste. Palate somewhat astringent in your mouth, mouth feel fruity with an aftertaste has a yeast characteristic. Overall, I really like this brew. Even though, its from the monster of the beer industry. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 27, 2009 330 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a big off-white head. Moderate aroma of sweet malt and spices. Flavor is sweet, light malty, light spicy, a hint of caramel and a hint of alcohol. The body is light, but not watery and there is a pronounced bitterness in the finish. Not very complex, but a pleasant and decent light ale for the right occasions. I have pretty good memories of this beer as it was one of the few decent beers available when I was on holiday in Costa Rica. Took me a few days to find it after having to drink some pale lagers for a while. Pours a yellowish orange with a finger and a half of white head. Bright aroma of fruit and yeast. But taste is not quite as good. Initial sweet maltiness gives way to a metallic bitterness. Some spice in the finish.
