3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Benjii (1681) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 14, 2011
330ml bottle at home. Pours a nice glowing golden colour with a thick white head. Fruity aroma with cloves, candy sugar, caramel and blueberries. Flavours of caramel and barley with a clove quality again. Not too sweet. Mouth-feel is foamy and a little chewy. Mild CO2 prickle and a long caramel linger. Not bad.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Chipalsa (481) - Florida, USA - AUG 13, 2011
Pours a beautiful bubbly body, looks like cream soda with a thick head. Smells like biscuits and honey, with a lingering spiciness that pleases the senses. The flavor is delicate, fairly yeasty and sweet with hints of cinnamon, cloves and alcohol. Finished mellow and a tad bitter, an incredibly smooth and delicate beer that is very satisfying overall.

Pours golden yellow with a high head.
Aromas of citrus, alcohol, aluminum
Some sweetness and roundness in the taste. A bit oily.

Into Guinness glass (best available). Classic gold; biggish bubbles; looks like a beer. Aroma is a weird balance of tart funk and rauch--yeah, has a touch of smokiness to it. Delicious smokiness. Lots of bubblegum--weiss qualities in the aroma that carry into the flavor. Spicy kick towards the finish. Good balance throughout. Palate stays out of the way. Finish has good sweetness. Super easy to drink, but enough complexity to keep you interested. Nice beer.

Clear golden amber head with a dissipating white head. Sweet banana clove aromas that come through strongly in the taste. Not bad.

Test vom 20.10.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Bottle. A nice sweet and wheaty ale. Not really an abby beer but a good ale nonetheless.

12oz. bottle, poured a golden orange color with a medium head. Has a fruity and strong yeasty aroma. Taste follows the aroma, strong yeasty - fruity flavor with a bitter finish. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. It’s nice and light, but a little too much yeast flavor for my taste.
