punkrkr27 (606), Berkley, Michigan, USA Oct 22, 2008 Clear light gold pour with a 1 finger white head. Strong bubblegum esters with notes of clove, candi sugar, straw, grass and orange. Flavor is a softer banana, clove and bubblegum mix than the aroma suggests with hints of honey, white grape juice and a faintly floral finish. Medium thin body with heavy carbonation. Really seems like a dumbed down version of a proper Belgian tripel. beergod (97), Houston, Texas, USA Oct 22, 2008 this beer pours a nice deep golden color with a nice foamy creamy head. The nose is of cloves, honey and slight cloves. Flavor is a bit of the same banana, honey slight citrus and very smooth. Very nice. smjohnst (202), , Pennsylvania, USA Oct 21, 2008 This was good. It tasted a little bit more like a hefe than a belgian ale but it had a nice smoothness to it. mrmojo (37), Edmond, Oklahoma, USA Oct 20, 2008 Nice golden color with firm head. Aroma of clove, caramel, burnt malt. Taste of honey, slight citrus, clove and a little alcohol burn. Nice sipping beer on a cool night or a good beer with Thanksgiving dinner. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA Oct 19, 2008 Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at the Ramstein AB shopette. Pours a light golden amber color. Aromas of citrus/coriander/some hops. I not big a beers with coriander like tastes. Probably a good beer just not my cup of beer. Almost like a Belgian Wit with a bite. SkyCop32 (286), Morlautern, Germany Oct 17, 2008 This is cloudy with a white head with hops and malt taste. This is close to my expectations of an Abbey with citrus flavor. wheelz843 (203), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Oct 15, 2008 bottle. has a sweet grassy aroma and pours a cloudy yellow with a thick white head. has a sweet taste with a very good aftertaste. gumby562 (4), , Texas, USA does not count Oct 13, 2008 very close to the real thing, and the best non-trappist abbey style ale so far... Complex taste,,,, bananas, and citrus with honey and a medium hops and malt blend.
