Well balanced, full-bodied and soothing, this beer is superb. There’s a thickness to this brew along with hints of apricots and bananas. If you enjoy Hefeweizens, then you’ll be pleased with a calming chalice of Leffe. Some may find it a bit sweet. Although filtered, Leffe manages to taste a lot like a wheat beer. The alcohol content gives it more kick than a traditional Hefeweizen however. I have consistently been impressed by this beer. A strong recommendation is awarded. PMgep (71), Lund, Sweden

Appearance throws me off. Taste very difficult for me to describe. Its just tastes like "beer" with a little bite to it. Easy to drink. ericandersnavy (1051), crossroads, Texas, USA

Fresh pine-wood flavours with a lot more banana and a tight, prickly finish.
