Commercial Description:
Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

(bottle) rich golden colour, tall white head, great lacing. aroma is strong pale malts, light hazelnut, banana, light grassy, spicy hops. flavour is the same, with more malts and less spices, not very exciting. light bitter finish, strongly carbonated, medium body.

2008 Bottle in St Barths - Sticky aroma of malty fruit and spice, poured light with a good sized head, moderate lacing...flavour is creamy on the front end for me, the clove/fruit/hops hesitated and then came out in full force...not the best balance but okay...might drink again, might not...

Bottle 33cl. Pours a higly carbonated clear gold colour with a normal head, but it lasts. Smell is banana and orange, but hard to define through the head. Very bitter taste, though I must say I didn’t drink it at the correct temperature. Taste is also fruityish, but sour fruits like lemon and lime. Overall a nice abbey blond.

Gold. Rather complex brew. Bitter, fruity, sweet, tangy. Noticable hops, citrus, apricot, caramel, and spicy flavors. Creamy feel with a clean and slightly bitter finish. Great beer.
