Commercial Description:
Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Golden color with darker hues. Carbonation bubbles throughout create a big head that dissipates but stays present. Yeasty, almost sugary notes on the nose.. really pleasant. Clove, sweet yeast, banana like.. honeysuckle and orange flavors. A slight hop note that is noticable, but only to balance. It’s sort of like a light belgian. The yeast esters and notes aren’t as huge, the sweetness more subdued into a palatable sweet/semi-sweet. It’s perhaps less... just less than some other Belgians, but it gives it a nice approachability. Yay. 10nth rating. Nice beer.

On tap in Reykjavík. Excellent beer. Golden with nice creamy filling and head. Fruity aroma. Sweet fruity and malty taste with a hint of banana and caramel. Nice finish.

Medium gold with a small white head that diminishes but sticks around. Pepper and clove taste with very little malt. A nice Summer/Fall Beer.

Stong notes of clove, banana and fruity yeast esters, very little malt aroma. Appearance is pale golden with a booming head that settles quickly to a thin lacing layer. Flavors are the same as the nose with strong notes of clove, banana and slight sweet fruits, body is medium and it finishes crisply, dry with some spice and subtle hop bitterness. One of the better of the macro belgian abby blondes, but needs a little more balance and complexity.

A pretty easy drinking Belgian. Aroma is of spice and yeast. Flavor is also yeast and spice (clove/pepper) with a little flavor of alcohol. 11.2 oz. bottle.

Had on tap @ Breakwater Brewing in sunny sweet Oceanside, Ca. Pours a golden almost clear hue with a white head that disappeared pretty damn fast. The nose was super much Belgian aroma and yeast coupled with spices like cloves and coriander. Flavor is very well medium bodied with a bit of peppery spiciness to go along with the aroma descriptions. Not too sweet, with a well balanced. Holds up nicely to it’s flavor profile and would pair very well with food.

33cl bottle from Vinmonopolet. It poured a golden colour with a medium white head that settles down quickly in the glass leaving a thin white roof. It has a grassy aroma and smells of malts and yeast. The flavour is dry and tastes of malts, some yeast and alcohol. It has a lingering aftertaste.

Nice golden pour with luscious white head. Spiced clovey aromas are evident as well as an underlying fruity complexity. A hearty yeasty quality to the aroma is intriguing and enjoyable. A spiced clean taste with touches of floral and piney flavors add depth and balance to a sugared malty strand. A subtle yet complex brew with an easy drinkability. Nice
