Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

It’s different for sure. I would say medium bodied. Nice for clover lovers.

Clear golden colour with a nice white head and average lacing. The aroma is sweet, yeasty and grassy. Smooth body with plenty of carbonation. Nice sweet flavour with a long lasting finish.

Tasted an 11.2-ounce bottle from a six-pack that I got at Bi-Rite Market in San Diego, California. Pours a clear golden color with a white head that thins out gradually and leaves behind some delicate lacing, which also fades. A faint, sweet spice aroma. Flavors are very sweet overall, and definitely more interesting than what I expected from a six-pack beer that I got at a convenient store...the bready Belgian yeast is prominent, and also present are sweet-tea like flavors and all kinds of spice notes, like clove and ginger. In a way, this beer tastes like a Christmas cookie, and I mean that in the best sense of the word. Medium-bodied, and very smooth. I suspect that some would find this beer to be too sweet, but I think it’s a pretty interesting and worthwhile choice.

Pours golden, rather clear with a inch of fuzzy white head. Aroma is of malt and spices. Taste is also spicy and malty sweet with a long finish that i can not identify. Little to none bitterness but the spicy taste makes up for that. Palate is medium/full bodied, slightly thick. Fizzy carbonation. I really enjoy this beer. It has a peculiar taste that i really like.

12 oz. bottle. The aroma is wheat, oranges, and cloves. The flavor is sweet and a little bitter. The palate is smooth and a little acidic.

Mmm, ännu en god belgare. Som vanligt mycket citrus i både doft och smak. Kommer inte riktigt upp i samma nivå som de allra bästa från Belgien, men är mer än väl godkänd.

Bottle-Fox Sky Box-Here i am in f’ing Qatar having, what i think is, a great little belgian ale. this is my first beer rating in a while. Also, maybe this beer isnt that great, but after not having beer for so long, it tastes damn good. Pours lightly hazy bright orange with a frothy head and good lacing (all 3 of these i have had laced really nice in a plastic cup). nose of light mustyness, light fruits (green apples), spice and some lite sourness. flavors of toasted pale grains (not husky but sweet belgian malt), residual sweetness and some toasted notes as well. long finish-does it ever end? I cant believe I havent had this beer and this is a great welcome to my return to the states. A very solid little belgian ale.

11.2 oz bottle. Pours deep golden with a foamy, long lasting, white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of Belgium yeast, pear, some banana and some spicy hop notes. Flavor is similar to aroma. Medium, crispy body. Long, dry finish. All around solid brew.
