Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Un classicone belga da supermercato, tutto sommato non male, un po’ spessotta e lievitosa

Yeasty and slightly Spicy. Very attractive beer with primarily yeasty aroma. I don’t really need to type much here, others can probably describe it much better than I can.

12oz bottle dark yellow in color with white lasting head. a belgium abbey ale with traditional flavors a slight hint of banana. light and mild and a good beer all around. would drink more than one of these.

Palme (1200) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 29, 2010
Pours a orange/yellow almost translucent body with tiny hints of some sediments and a thin foam line. Nose is dominated by yeast, sweet malt and some alcohol. In mouth: Lively carbonated, some grassy notes, yeast, sweet, warming, some orange and citrus flavors, perhaps a bit watery in the middle. A flavor only leffe can give me. Creamy, best served not to chilled. This beer really deserves to be served from it’s own goblet! Really nice!

12 oz bottle, pours clear straw w/ lacy white head, strong aroma of banana and cloves, smooth and overly sweet with banana overpowering and overwhelming any semblence of balance, indetectable hop character smooth but far too sweet

Pours a brownish yellow with big white head. Excellent lacing. Aromas is really good. Ripe banana, bubble gum, cloves, and peppercorn. Taste is similiar to aromas with medium body and sugary. One of my favorate common six pack beers.
