COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

bière qui a du caractère mais trop forte à mon gout, je préfère la blonde

11.2oz bottle in a shaker. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of the Belgian spicy yeast and light malts. Flavor about the same, but very light compared to most Belgian beers. Worth trying, but not as good as a lot of Belgian beers.

(draught at Dallas Gingerman) clear medium yellow with lasting film head. Nose of Belgian yeast, nice spice mix, sweet golden raisin. Taste of Belgian yeast, coriander, golden raisin, light apple, alcohol. Thin crisp body that’s also creamy.

Cette bière ne justifie plus les éloges que nous pouvions lui faire à l’époque.

I remember the first time I tried this beer. I thought it was so aweful. The next time I tried it was two years later. I have not regreted it. This beer has an excellent aroma, asweet Belgian taste that is somewhat heavy on the palate but makes a great finish. Great to just sip and enjoy.
