Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Bottle. Clear golden/yellow with a thick, white, fluffy head. Aroma of earthy Belgian yeast, coriander and some honey malt. Flavor is zesty yeast, slightly sweet sugary malt and a light hop bitterness. Light body with active carbonation and a clean finish. This is a very nice Belgian ale, super drinkable with lots of yeast character.

Bought a 6 pack at Fry’s Signature. Haven’t had this in a long time. Full beer head, with a sweet aroma. Deep golden blond color. It’s got a clove’s like taste with a hint of fruit that, to me, is a little overpowering. Good for a unique beer to enjoy with friends

Bottle. One of the first Belgian beers I ever tried, way back when, and still one of my favourites. This may be in most supermarkets these days but don’t let that put you off - this is a classic. A superb, thick head - even from a bottle. Lovely deep colour, darker than most blondes. Rich, spicy, hoppy aroma. Taste is far more complex than your typical blonde. Definitely best on a winter’s evening. This really is delicious. I will always seek out new and unusual beers but I will also still come back to this, time and again.

Det här är en relativt trevlig och försiktig öl, smaken präglas främst av sötma och klassisk belgisk jäst. Utöver det är den ganska så svårbedömd, men ända en njutbar upplevelse.

Bottle. Aroma is a light sweet fruitiness. Taste is sweet, over ripe banana.
