Commercial Description:
Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

This ale has an aroma of cloves and roasted nuts, almost a Christmas pudding in a glass. Initial taste is quite fruity, with notes of banana, with a slight cassis aftertaste. Overall quite satisfying, but it is a bit on the heavy side--almost too complex and a little cloying. Not a session beer.

I liked this blond ale which exhibited a mild carbonation with aromas of banana and clove. It has a good body with a creamy top that reminds me of some of the better Wit beers.

Poured from a bottle a a crisp golden light body with a fluffy thick white head that dies out soon after. Nutty, estery, yeasty, banana clove nose. Tingly, spicy. earthy, easy to drink like the commercial description denotes. Pretty affordable, too.

Clear golden color with big foamy white head. Aroma of spices, yeast, citrus fruit. Flavor was clove, banana, lemon, biscuit, spices and a fruity sweetness. A nice long, dry finish. Very drinkable, especially for a warm spring afternoon.

Really nice sour biscuit finish. Sweet aroma, light, full meringue head. Golden with a slight cloudiness that tells you it’s no dumb blonde, that it’s got depth. As you’re savoring it, you realize it’s already gone and you want to grab another.
