Poured in a Leffe glass, big clean whit head with lace. Golden too clean colour for an unfiltered beer. Smell of banana, clove, coriander, honey, spices. Too sweet flavor, taste of banana, clove, some pepper, fruits. Good one, but give it to me anytime as it used to be... wheresthepath (534), Buckinghamshire, England

After trying to clear my mind and mouth of that, I picked up lemon, orange, grassy notes and a hint of coriander leaf. Definitely more than a hint of the great Leffe Tripel in here, but rather in the manner of a poor imitation - many of the flavours were there, but very poorly balanced. And I think Hilary was right - by the end I was still picking up honey and the odd wisp of woodsmoke. Odd, but smoother and easier to swig (dangerously so) than many abbey beers (possibly the relatively light carbonaion helped!) SuperDave70 (1157), Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 15, 2008 Poura a clear gold with a foamy white head that lasts a while. Spicy aroma of hops. Sweet slightly fruity malt flavor. A little bitterness on the finish. Not bad at all considering the price. wyzzywyz22 (771), Wirral, Merseyside, England

For people who think they’re getting something cutting edge, but really this is the Fosters of Belgian beers...Well maybe not quite that disgusting. Its just about drinkable , but has a sweet, sickly flavour and is best avoided. bleeng (593), Spring near Beersel, Texas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 13, 2008 12 oz bottle. Clear, unfiltered, small white head. Nose is lightly hopped, slightly malty, and a bit spicy. Taste of sugar, spices, nice light hops. A big alcoholic, carbonation is a bit much but it drinks smoothly. Nice session single. ironchefscott (342), portland, Oregon, USA
