"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2010 on tap at Belgian Bier Cafe in Balmain. Very strong fruit/citrus at the start that kind of fades to nothing towards the end.

First of two Leffe brews. Poured a rich golden-amber colour with a beige head with good retention. Excellent for an ale, but fast dissapating for a beer from Belgium. Foamy lacing was found on the tulip glass. Aromas were spicy and wheaty. The mouth was sweet, filled of fruits, and also spices like cloves and coriander. The mouthfeel was medium / full body with good carbonation. Even though this is a mass-produced Belgium beer, I find it very, very pleasant.

Pours light golden, crystal clear. Strange aroma, slightly funky, some weird yeast notes. Some metallic tones, spicy notes. Medium body, medium carbonation. Short finish. Nothing offensive, but not quite right. May have suffered from bad storage.

Brand new keg at Locale, Newmarket, Amsterdam. Wheat, aromatic perfume, spruce. Thick white head with good lacing. Body has slight haze, light amber. Served in 25cl Leffe glassware. Some sweetness, some bitterness. Warming. Dry finish. A favourite.

Bottle. 6.6%. mildly hazy, golden yellow pour with a bubbly white head that dissipates slowly. Aroma is yeast, coriander, and cloves. Taste is mildly sweet, herbal. Full bodied, this packs an albeit well disguised punch. Finish is quite smooth. Delicious.

330 mL bottle at the Red Monk. Pours a cloudy gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is very spicy, a little fruity, a little smoky. Flavor is all on spices and ripe, sweet fruits, with a hint of citrus in there as well. Very nice, very drinkable.
