Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2010 The aroma contains rather citrus-y hops and doughy yeast - it’s one of the best I’ve tasted lately. The beer has a very brown look, while also being clear, and with moderate head. Upon taking a sip, the medium sweetness comes up right away, with a very distinct "Belgian" malt aroma. It’s a smooth beer that isn’t very fizzy. Overall, the Leffe blond is a very good beer that I’ll enjoy again! It’s not as strongly flavored as some other Belgian beers I’ve tried, but it’s still good, and would be a great type to introduce to someone who hasn’t tried Belgian beer.

Poured a clear gold with a large off-white head (3 fingers). Aroma: citrus, sweet over-ripe fruits, malt, yeast. Taste: citrus, fruit (grapefruit), yeast, sweet malts, mild hops, notes of spice. Light body. Fairly short finish. Mild carbonation. Overall good... not much depth or complexity in this but not bad.
