Commercial Description:
Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Great Belgian from a nice Abbey. Pours a beautiful golden color, nice head formation from a bottle. Good aroma and a wonderful mouth-feel. All the good things about a Belgian in a nice blond beer.

I thoroughly enjoyed this Abbey. Beautiful presentation on the bottle, even a more beautiful taste. Pours golden blonde, but I did get a dissapointing head. Flavor notes: slightly fruity, barley, light overtones of sweetness. Overall a great choice!

Pours a warm yellow golden clear wit ha healthy white head. The nose is sweet with malt and fruity esters. Reminds me of a wheat beer, though none of that wheaty graininess. A little straw/hint of grass. the mouthfeel is surprisingly full and smooth with a bit of slickness to it. The flavors are sweet with a little bit of a spicy Belgian kick of fruitiness to it. There’s a small amount of that straw sort of hops. A lingering strawberry. very light sweetness up front, almost like bubblegum, dries out very quickly into a lingering toasty strawberry by the end. The sweetness reminds me of Stella. The lack of extreme complexity reminds me of Stella. But in the end, I think this is a bit better a beer, and one I think I might put in that class along with Sam Adams and SNPA.

Bottle. Nice smooth mouthfeel with perfect carbonation level and moderately light fluffy head. Medium bodied for a Blond, with nice banana/apple flavors and slight clove/citrus aroma. Tends to remind me of the Spring especially when served in the Tulip.

Botella. Comprada en superemercado. Muy buena cerveza. Cuerpo, dulce, se siente el alcohol en la boca. Esperaba u poco mas de aroma. Para tomar siempre que se pueda.

A very well done abbey! A sweet immediate note with a moderate head. Beautiful golden color that looks great in a tulip. You can definitely taste the alcohol if the beer gets to warm. A tasty and satisfying beer that deserves the praise.

12 oz served in a tumbler...Nice golden-yellow color. Thick and very sweet and fruity head aroma. Flavor was very "flat" for this style...picked up a bit of banana, yeast, sweet-bread flavors. Very light on the palate; IMHO a little too light. Good beer and I’d have it again, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to purchase.

This is the best of Leffe’s offerings. Poured the color of golden syrup with a big foaming head that left plenty of lace. The nose is ripe and summery. Hints of ripening hay, bubble gum, yeast, cookie-like malt and plenty of alcohol. It’s firm and succulent at the front of the mouth with a fine juicy berry middle and a surprisingly light footprint. It is not especially complex but solid drinking all the same.
