Poured from bottle, one of the most amazing, clear, dark golden beers I have poured in a long time. the smell of cloves totally dominated, with a citrus backround. Flovor was also dominated by cloves, with a back of bannana, and citrus. Almost "too" much of a dominant clove taste. Finishes a little bitter. Good beer, not a seesion beer, but, a change of pace for me.

A very good, but not great beer. Huge head and very fresh inviting aroma. Banana dominates and this yeast and ester profile is great and refreshing, but during the consumption of the bottle you note that it isn’t well balanced. Again, here in Panama today, but no expectations that it will be next month.

Heres an accurate zinger... this blond gives alot of head! But seriously, blonde color with a big frothy white head. Smells like bananas and carries over to the taste which is a delicious malty banana flavor. This is pretty good.

On tap at Belgian Beer Cafe. Probably my favourite in the Leffe range, although still a tad plain. Bit of citrus with a creamy bubblegum flavour.

Got this one at Mahar’s. Not really a fan of blond’s, but I am of Belgium so here goes. Smooth feel in the mouth, nice carbonation. Light to medium body, lighter fruits, citrusy. Nice beer...for a blond.

RE-RATE: Bottle (330ml). Poured orangey bronze with a large, frothy, off-white head which was average lasting. A spicy aroma consisting of coriander, white pepper and cloves with yeasty malts, orange zest and some pears to back it all up. Flavor was of bready malts with crisp apples, lemon zest, white pepper, coriander and some cinnamon. Medium bodied with medium carbonation, a dry/spicy mouthfeel and a good finish.

~Fluffy white head. Clear golden colour. ~Sweet spice aroma. Smells like its been sitting in the bottle awhile. ~Sweet taste. A little too sweet for my taste. ~Palate is sticky and seems thick. ~Don’t really care too much for this beer. Its too sweet.Won’t purchase again, but won’t turn down if offered either.

Pours a light blonde (suprise!) with pleasing sweet aromas....Taste of apricots, yeast...after a few a little too sweet, not enough hops. Dry aftertaste. Good blonde but not enough to make me want more.
