AaronBouchard (128), Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada Oct 18, 2007 330 ml bottle. I personally find this beer too sweet for my likeings. It looks like apple juice and tastes like it too. Sure this isen’t cider? boFNjackson (1233), Portland, Oregon, USA Oct 17, 2007 Bottle... Light orange with a white head. Sweet, chalky aroma. Intensely sweet with banana and coriander flavors, alcohol comes in and is balanced by hops. Creamy finish with a clove aftertaste. Vav (13), Chicago, Illinois, USA Oct 17, 2007 Very spicy aroma, complex palate, malty finish. Not really my cup of..er..beer, but very nice. oteyj (713), Canterbury, New Hampshire, USA Oct 13, 2007 Pours golden with copius head. Lots of carbonation. Aromas of fruit, hops, and malt. Flavours of malt, caramel, and straw. Very pronounced flavour- though a little bitter on the finish. Medium body with high carbonation that prickled a little. Overall very satisfying. Bobsy (194), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 12, 2007 Bottle from the LCBO. Bright golden pour with a frothy white head. Dispays good carbonation. Aroma has a modicum of spice in it along with malt. Taste is pretty malty with a honey sweetness coming through. Finish is pleasant and also full of malt. Not bad. ilovedarkbeer (1326), Dallas, Texas, USA Oct 11, 2007 Overall pretty good. Tastes very belgian in a sense that it has a bit of a tripel taste to it. Pours a golden yellow color with a thin fizzy head that dissapates quickly. Tastes somewhat sour and bitter with notes of grass and caramel. Ok just a little watery. mtoast (290), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 11, 2007 On tap, from old notes. Light orange color with aromas of honey and malt with just a note of wet cardboard. Flavor is fairly sweet with more honey notes and more wet cardboard, little hint of bitterness in the finish. FatPhil (3443), Espoo, Finland Oct 10, 2007 330ml bottle.
Light orange, thick fluffy head. Dusty and yeasty theme to an otherwise sweet malty aroma. Very mellow malty taste with subtle back-of-the-mouth hops, and with a fairly long but gently malty finish. Alcohol is nicely subdued. Nothing’s exceptional, but I really can’t find any fault with this at all.
