Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Bottle. Banana and clove nose. Flavors of is fruits (apple and banana) , some sweet sugary notes and light spice. The body is medium with a dry mouthfeel. Overall a Belgian Blonde I find to be very smooth and easy to drink. I could drink large amounts and not get full.

Bottle, thanks Tom! Deep gold colored brew with a thin bright white head. Nose doughy with a hint of raisins. There is also some peanut character. The taste is smooth and yeasty. There are some apple cider notes and sweet potato. There is also a little bit of bread crust and booze in the finish. Decent.

Roast malts on the nose, very pleasant. Not overpowering and a mild hint of banana. Pours golden with a very pillowy off-white head. Medium sweetness on the tongue which goes well with the mild aroma to make a pleasant drink. A little sticky/sickly on the palate, but goes well with food. Not the best example, but pleasant and easy enough to find.

Clear yellow color. Nice, nearly 2 finger thick poofy white head. Bubbly rings of lace. Nice, typical burnt-sweet aroma of the belgian yeast. Some spice. Active-looking carbonation, very soft smooth carbonation, non-intrusive body. Very easy-drinking and enjoyable belgian.

I just hate that finish. So much corn in it. Only the color of the beer, and the aroma is nice. The finish ruins the whole beer.

Looks like chlorine in the glass with a nice fluffy white head. Smell is yeasty and sweet. Some spice characters like clove. Unibrouesque. Taste is very sweet with some banana and clove notes. Light and enjoyable. Incredibly drinkable. Thanks Chipalsa.
