Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Source:On tap at several pubs in Dublin.
Glass:Tulip.
Appearance:Hazy yellow pour with a one finger white head.
Aroma:Banana, spice and candi sugar.
Flavor:Mainly malt with a citrus finish.
Palate:Medium/light body with mild carbonation.
Overall:Ho Hum.

first drink- Impressed, smells like a belgian beer, tastes good. Half glass- Still tastes good, tasting bananas. Finishing glass-Has a faint overly ripe taste, a little too sweet. Overall I liked this beer, didn’t love it.

Sample at Ray’s. Light yellow pour with off-white head. Straight up bananas through the whole thing. Glad it was just a sample.

An aggressive belgian ale with distinct butterscotch, lemon and honey notes. Wet on the palate and quite bitter taste.

Representative of the style. Have had better and worse. Now easy to find locally, but I had not seen it until a year or so ago. A nice change of pace from my usual Belgian style favorites, but not outstanding enough to crack the list.

On tap served in chalice: A solid belgian brew that’s a good rep of the style. As an extra benefit, the barkeep gave this to me for free!

0,75l bottle. Golden colour with a medium white head. Fruity and malty aroma. Malty flavour with some sweetness, citrus and apples, slightly bitter. Easy to drink and very tasty. Good beer.

Bottle. Clear golden colour (filtered?) with a white head. Sweet, a bit spicy, banana, bubbelgum, some herbal hops, a bit of alcohol.
