Commercial Description:
Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Pours a large, white head. Clear dark gold color. The flavor has a vague sweetness to it, but well balanced with the hops. A pretty pleasing blonde ale.

Looks great in a chalice, aromas are citrusy and hoppy. Tastes great, nice sweetness, nice bitter finish.

Great for a beer that you can get in a large variety of places with its own unique taste. I feel bad, because even though the taste is unique and it’s a taste which I admire, I have had many better beers.

Very pale yellow. Decent head. Aroma is not exactly inviting, but it’s OK. Spicy flavor is alright, but the dry mouthfeel pulled all the moisture from my mouth. Gnar.

Best Before: 24/07/10. Appearance: Pours a crystal clear, gold body with a smallish, fizzy, white head. Smell: It’s a sweet-scented, nigh sugary nose with notes of lightly grainy pilsner malts, fruits brushed with clover honey, spice, soft florals, and alcohol. Taste: Sweet maltiness blended with some grainy pilsner malts and sprinkled with crushed honey candies. Drying, warming alcohol enters fairly early in the taste. Slight white peach fruitiness. Subtle clove spiciness and even subtler banana taste. Subdued hop flavor with no more than enough bitterness to make itself known. Regardless of the alcohol and, albeit low, hop character, reemerging candied sweetness pops in here and there. Finishes semi-dry. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation. Drinkability: While perusing the label for any possible dating, I caught some light through the bottom of the bottle and noticed just how downright clean the inside of the bottle looked. Sure enough, it’s been filtered to a high degree and seems to have lost more than it’s gained. Overall, it’s a passable, acceptable, widely available Belgian blonde, though I dare say there’re better blondes to be had out there.

A nice beer. Pours a clear gold colour with an airy, white head. A nose of wet vegetation and bready yeast. The flavour is light, crisp and sweet, with notes of fruit, oatmeal, and a slight touch of honey. It has a nice, dry finish but also a slight bitter note that makes it hard to drink more than one or two...

(bottle). Pours a clear golden color. Medium white head. Lemon aroma. Wheat flavor. Avg duration. Spare lacing. Thin texture. Fizzy carbonation. Sligthly astringent.

This is a not very exciting blonde beer. In terms of taste, it has a rather disappointing after taste of disinfectant.
