Ungstrup (14723), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 3, 2002 An amber beer with a good head. It doesn’t have much aroma. But the flavor is that of a good malt blend - with a slight touch of alcohol. It ends of on a slightly bitter note of a good hop. Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 1, 2005 Updated: Jan 8, 2006(Bottle 33 cl) The blond Leffe is far from the best Leffe. Pretty nice, huge head and a beautiful golden colour. But no real characteristica to put this above the average blond ale. 060493 omhper (12147), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 18, 2006 [Bottled] Clear golden, airy head. Fruity toffee aroma. Sweet and medium bodied with fairly clean mouthfeel. Caramel and almond dominates. Slightly metallic finish with a dash of grassy bitterness. Perhaps not very complex, and certainly lacking a bit in malt character, but still a pretty good beer. yespr (11613), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 4, 2007 From tap. Pours deep orange/amber with a huge light brown head. Aroma is toffee and a fruity/yeasty note. Flavour is mainly malty caramel sweet, fruity and with some distinct note I’m not able to completely make out (almonds perhaps). Creamy mouthfeel. Bitter finish. fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Aug 3, 2006 Bottle. Clear golden orange with white head. Aroma is malt, banana, cloves, and musty. Flavor is banana, malt, coriander, orange.
