Commercial Description:
Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

On tap at Drift, Moseley, Birmingham. Finally rated this paradigm-shifting (in Britian anyway) Belgian perennial. Better than I remember: light, fizzy, with honey and lemon tones. Sweet, perhaps a little too sweet, but crisp and quite drinkable for the strength. A good fallback option.

This yellow-colored ale poured with a large, long-lasting fluffy head. The flavor is malty and spicy, with a very carbonated mouthfeel. Drinkable, but not remarkable.

Pours a clear, dark gold, with a rather large white head. Good lacing. Nose is malts and yeast, slightly sweet. Flavor follows suit. Really, a very nice ale.

Bottled. Light colour & aroma. Flaour is almost lager-ish and the alcohol is well hidden. Quality beer.

Dark amber color with an ivory-white head that dollops, center-stage. Aromas of liqueured bananas and hops. Taste of honey.

The bottle looks really good, old but stylish. Looks good in the glass, very zippy. Very fruity aroma. Flavor very spicy, sweet, really good.

Clear golden body topped by a foamy white head. The aroma is malty and spicy, neither outstandingly good nor bad. The flavor is spicy and yeasty, with a lingering fruitiness. Palate is dry with an alcoholic finish. Entirely forgettable.

Pours a translucent golden brew with a two finger frothy white head. The nose shows some sweetness, lots of yeast influence, spices, fruit, honey, earthy/funky Belgian feel. The flavor is warming, spicy, honey, mildly sweet, yeasty, Belgian/earthy. Palate is warm and crisply carbonated. Tasty.
