Commercial Description:
Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Simply beautiful. This beer wins the gold for subtelty. Pour vigorously and you will be rewarded with a light fluffy head lying on a pool of blonde heaven. The nose of hops and possibly oranges? Flavours abound but not one dominates the other. The beer is amazingly well rounded with a body that allows you to drink more than one. A great beer!

This brew has a wheatish nose of bubblegum, banana, and perfume. Pours from the bottle a sparkling perfect shade of amber. The huge white creamy head is mostly lasting with very good lacing. The flavor starts sweet with a sour acidic bite in the middle. The finish is spicy and warm. The medium creamy body is lively and finishes alcoholic. Very pleasing.

This was my first belgian beer ever, back in 91 at a bistro in Paris, I had never had anything quite like it(since then I have). It has grown to be a favorite of mine, despite the new owners. This is a great beer for your friends who are a bit squemish about beer, but are adventurous enough to try it. Most become hooked and are soon ready to take on different beers that have more to offer. It pours golden and slightly cloudy, with a thin head. It has a fruity smell, with a fruity banana and citrus taste. It is very drinkable, and is a great session beer.

Wonderful beer. Will buy again. A lot more flavor than Hoegaarden. This is a sweet ale. I usually prefer dark beers, but this one hits the spot.
