UPDATED: AUG 14, 2007 An everyday Belgian ale. Somewhat yeasty, nice hop character, smooth drinking with citrus zest coming through in the back of throat. Pours a dark golden color with a nice cloudy head. Good brew.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2005 Leffe blond is probably the most representative belgian beer around. A very interesting honey flavor.

Poured to a pale golden color, with foamy white head that lasted the entire bottle, with high carbonation and excellent lacing. Aroma was very hoppy and spicy, mostly clove. Flavor was a continuation of the hops and clove, with some hint of other spices, and a trickle of malty sweetness. Aroma and flavor were consistent as the beer warmed, and the finsih was very good and smooth. I really enjoyed this blonde.

bright withe head don’t lasts long
dark orange-golden colour
hoppy and malty smell, smells a little bit sweet, smells spicy too, something a little bit fruity is hidden behind.
tasts hoppier than expected during smelling, but also malty and spicy, remembering me a little bit some christmas-spice blends, something fruity hidden in the taste too.
lively carbonated,fizzy.
hoppy and malty-sweet aftertaste,spicy.
aftertaste lasts long.
take enough time,to drink it,don’t drink it to fast, even if it seems easy drinkable by the first tasting, the fizzy carbonation could lead one to drinking it to fast, but some interesting flavours can only be detected with a little bit of patience !
yes,i like it ! cause i like beers who don’t show me their secrets at the first view!! and i like complicated hidden flavours!

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2010 The aroma contains rather citrus-y hops and doughy yeast - it’s one of the best I’ve tasted lately. The beer has a very brown look, while also being clear, and with moderate head. Upon taking a sip, the medium sweetness comes up right away, with a very distinct "Belgian" malt aroma. It’s a smooth beer that isn’t very fizzy. Overall, the Leffe blond is a very good beer that I’ll enjoy again! It’s not as strongly flavored as some other Belgian beers I’ve tried, but it’s still good, and would be a great type to introduce to someone who hasn’t tried Belgian beer.

Pours a golden color with a lot of white, bubbly head. Aroma is sweet and soapy with a hint of clove. Flavor is bittersweet with a bit of hops, some citrus and more clove. Soft mouthfeel with mild carbonation. Very good.

Very well done Blond. Pours a crisp blond with perfec white head. Almost wheat like in its flavor of hops, citris and spices. Full finish that’s close to perfect for this class. Should be a fixture in your fridge on 90 degree days.
