It has a golden straw color with a short lasting head. The taste is very smooth and malty with a quick bitter aftertaste. Tastes like liquid meal ummmm kyuss (21), Belgium

Very smooth, accessible taste, a bit sweet. gnostication (1), Sacramento, California, USA does not count | 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Jul 31, 2005 I believe this is the most heavenly beer I’ve ever tried. Its aroma is slightly sweet and fruity. Creamy and full bodied on the palate, this golden ale is nicely carbonated, bubbly. It taste is subtle citrus with clove overtones, very mild. A classic brew that provides a very special and memorable indulgence. Not over powered by alcohol with perfect balance of fruit, spice and yeast flavor. I cannot get enough, especially with good hearty food - schnitzel, steak - or just watching TV. The pour is perfect with thick creamy head. Very fruity aroma with sour, bready notes and hints of raspberry and peach. Flavor is from prominent yeast strain, pilsener malt, toast, maybe some candi sugar. Noble hops are subtle. Some spice notes in background. Pretty dry. Very good.
