detroitsteel (209), Greater London, England Feb 19, 2007 I had a glass recently so I thought I’d better rate it, although its so common I doubt anyone really needs an assesment. Pours orangy amber, a nice honey tone with a big firm head that holds well. Good lacing. I still find the flavour to sweet and cloying, not enough hops in there. The body is nice and light. All in all a decent beer that has found its way onto the pumps of most smart bars in London. Is it brewed in Luton like other InBev brands?
jjuf1853 (210), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA Oct 7, 2008 Bottle pours a clear, golden, honey color with a thin head. A constant stream of carbonation rises from the bottom of the glass to the surface forming a concentrated head in the center with a thin ring around the outside. Good lacing along the side of the glass. Nice fruity, yeast aroma. Sweet spiced flavor that includes cloves, bananas, malt and some citrus. Active carbonation on the tongue and a slightly dry finish. Very nice overall. BeerBaron617 (153), Novi, Michigan, USA Oct 7, 2008 I bought this on suggestion of the beer guy at my local shop, and becuse the price was right. Well, upon first sip, it’s pretty good! It pours a medium amber, with a dissapearing head. The aroma is not subtle, but it’s not too strong, and its kind of fruity. It tastes like a traditional Belgian ale, with lots of citrus, and fuzzyness. I would definitly buy this again. Cheers! Swalden_28 (640), McKinney, Texas, USA Oct 5, 2008 Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in McKinney, TX. Pours a nice looking clear gold with white fizzy head. Nice aroma, some citris and I think a little bannana, and malt. Flavor much the same as aroma...nice....Mouthfeel is light body and high carbonation....Overall, this hides the alcohol well for what it is and is pretty tasty.....Would make a good session beer as well, except I think you would be wasted before you knew it.....Good stuff... Pyobon (170), Sydney, Australia Oct 4, 2008 Bottle. Clear golden with good white head. Aroma is slightly citrus, slightly estery and pleasant. Light to medium body with good carbonation. Rich complex taste (malt, esters, banana) yet refreshing. Some bitterness in finish. Overall a well balanced beer: refreshing yet complex and quite rich.
