Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Bottle. Gold with a white head. Bubblegum and malt aroma. Flavour is banana, more bubblegum and caramel - tastes a bit like a hefe. A bit over sweet. Decent beer.

Decent stuff, but a little too sweet to be one of my favorites. Pours cloudy yellow with a white head. Flavor is sweet light fruit, sugar, and a bit of an aftertaste. A little yeasty. Overall well balanced.

3/II/2012 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 22/X/12 (2012-80)

Clear light orange beer, big creamy head, stable, adhesive. Aroma: sweet sugary, alcohol, some orange peel, citrus, more sugar. MF: soft carbon, light body, some alcoholic feeling. Taste: sweet sugary taste, dirty malts, overripe banana, alcohol, some spices. Aftertaste: syrupy sugary, bit of citrus, rotten fruits, still alcohol.

Pours a golden amber color. Very big white head. Lots of lace with this one. Sweet and malty with caramel, clove, and some bread notes. Lots of carbobnation. A very filling, enjoyable beer I could drink at anytime.

Pours a crystal-golden color with a decent white head. Aroma is sweet and wheaty with notes of bubblegum. Smells like a good german Hefeweizen. Flavor is certainly reminiscent of a Hefeweizen. Bubblegum and banana flavors. Very good.

Small bottle. Very fresh aroma of vanilla and fruit, pours deep golden with a good head which subsides a little. The taste is very fresh, similar to the aroma and quite sweet, with the best part of the beer being the creamy and thick texture it brings. Altogether a very good beer and also very drinkable; a favourite.
