Pours a golden color with a thick white head that leaves a great lace. Aroma of sweet fruits, hops and bready yeast. Flaors of candy sugar, banana, and slight hop bitterness. Fairly dry finish. Overall a pretty good Belgian ale, especially for the price.

Jan 6, 2010 Weird that I never rated this. Just picked up a 6 for my wife, so here we go. Solid Belgian that is widely available and cheap. A bit sweet, but not too sweet for me. Thumbs up.

Jan 4, 2010 Poured golden-yellow colour with a foamy white head. Smells of yeast, herbal hints, and pepper. Taste poorer than we can expect from the aroma. Sweet veil of metallic notes appear in your mouth with a good bitter finish. Nicely balanced.

Jan 3, 2010 Chilled in a pint glass. Pours a reddish brown with a 2 finger head - a very nice looking clear ale. Massive ripe banana, vanilla, and clove aromas and a taste to match. Very little hop aroma or taste but there is some balance there. Its medium bodied and not very long lasting on the palate. The finish is slightly sour and, oddly, quite dry for an ale this sweet. Its well carbonated and thats a good thing because, as I mentioned, its VERY sweet. Its not one of my favorites but its an easy drinker and has decent complexity that makes it interesting in small doses.

Jan 2, 2010 A touch of sour yeast in this belgian ale. I’m not huge on belgians, but this one isn’t bad at all. Golden color. Smooth and fairly easy to quaff.

Jan 1, 2010 Bottle. Pours gold with orange highlights, with a one-finger bubbly snow-white head. Aromas of Belgian yeast, butter, bubblegum, sour cherries, and vanilla. Flavor is sweet, with brown sugar and rock candy fading to a slightly hoppy and bitter bubblegum finish. Leaves a sweet and sour aftertaste. Mouthfeel is creamy, pretty smooth, with medium carbonation. This is pretty good.
