Commercial Description:
Filtered.
Uses vieux temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a 'connoisseur' beer that is easy to drink."

bottle 11.2 oz. Golden almost clear, white head that fell rather quickly to almost nothing. Nice full Belgian aroma of yeast and spices including clove and coriander. Flavor is well into medium bodied with a bit of peppery spiciness to go along with the aroma descriptions. Not too sweet, with a well balanced, moderate bitterness. This is a decent Belgian for the price. It does seem to be just a bit abrupt and lacking refinement though. Holds it’s flavor profile up well with food.

Bottle pours a clear, golden, honey color with a thin head. A constant stream of carbonation rises from the bottom of the glass to the surface forming a concentrated head in the center with a thin ring around the outside. Good lacing along the side of the glass. Nice fruity, yeast aroma. Sweet spiced flavor that includes cloves, bananas, malt and some citrus. Active carbonation on the tongue and a slightly dry finish. Very nice overall.

I bought this on suggestion of the beer guy at my local shop, and becuse the price was right. Well, upon first sip, it’s pretty good! It pours a medium amber, with a dissapearing head. The aroma is not subtle, but it’s not too strong, and its kind of fruity. It tastes like a traditional Belgian ale, with lots of citrus, and fuzzyness. I would definitly buy this again. Cheers!

Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in McKinney, TX. Pours a nice looking clear gold with white fizzy head. Nice aroma, some citris and I think a little bannana, and malt. Flavor much the same as aroma...nice....Mouthfeel is light body and high carbonation....Overall, this hides the alcohol well for what it is and is pretty tasty.....Would make a good session beer as well, except I think you would be wasted before you knew it.....Good stuff...

Bottle. Clear golden with good white head. Aroma is slightly citrus, slightly estery and pleasant. Light to medium body with good carbonation. Rich complex taste (malt, esters, banana) yet refreshing. Some bitterness in finish. Overall a well balanced beer: refreshing yet complex and quite rich.
