"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Gulaktig med medium skum. Aromaen er banan, belgisk gjær, malt og noe sitrus. Smaken er gjær og banan. Tørr i munnen. Mildt bitter i ettersmaken.

Buona belgian ale, mi aspettavo di peggio da una birra prodotta ormai industrialmente. La consiglio con il pesce...soprattutto con le ostriche fa la sua bella figura. Provare per credere...

Nice Belgian. Not very heavy, quite drinkable. It?s like a toned down triple. Looks good and carbonation is pleasant. Flavor is typical Belgian with a bit of German weizen. Flavor has mild malt sweetness, banana and Belgian yeast. Could do with a bit more hop bitterness. A good session beer.

Transfer from BA review from 6-28-12- Poured from bottle into Leffe chalice glass Appearance – Pours a deep golden/orange color with a billowy white head. The head has a fair amount of retention, but fades slowly over time to give a nice level of lacing. Smell – The aroma is very classic of a Belgian. A biscuit aroma with a strong presence of yeast cake, banana and a lighter lemon citrus aroma. There is also a light pepper spicy aroma mixed with the rest. Taste – A sweet and somewhat bready flavor met the tongue. The sweet is mainly citrus and a light caramel in nature with the breadiness a mix of biscuit and malty bread. Soon after the initial taste the yeast that was detected in the nose comes to the taste. This is soon also meet with flavors of banana and spice. These flavors take the taste to the end and leave a quite sweet yet satisfying flavor on the tongue. Mouthfeel –The body is a above average in thickness and chewiness and the carbonation level is quite average. The chewiness of the brew is really very nice for the style and allows al the flavors to coast and sit on the tongue. Overall – This is a very affordable Belgian beer with a fantastic flavor and feel. A great session Belgian!!

0,75l Flasche. Orange-goldenes Bier mit fast cremiger Schaumkrone. Riecht leicht malzig und etwas nach Gewürze. Schmeckt malzig und fruchtig, in richtung Hefeweizen. Im Abgang ein wenig säuerlich.

The selected aromatic malts give the beer it’s deep golden colour and full bodied fruity lightly spiced taste. Very nice

Clear, golden colour. Pretty typical aroma with some foam banana sweets, yeasty notes and a little caramel. Palate is rather light and balanced. Flavours of foam bananas, no bitterness but a moderate, albeit low intensity finish. A very average beer. A shame it’s not bottle conditioned.
