"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Got 20 exemplars of this good beer from a french friend.Actually a commercial description that makes sense and sums it up accurately." Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink." Balanced ,smooth complex beer with golden colour with medium sweetness and fruity character.

Bottle. Surprised it is not rated. Nose is pear, yeast a certain mustyness wheat. Taste is yeast, peach, a suspiciously synthetic and overbearing vanilla, cream, lots of cloves. A proper chemical metallic note in the finish. The beer trades and succeeds commercially by being a readily available version of a style the casual drinker won’t know. It is however an actively bad beer which takes shortcuts. A beer for the local supermarket or people who don’t really like beer.

Kultaisen värinen olut, joka muodosti pintaan sakeaa vaahtoa. Tuoksu oli hieman omituinen, toi itselle mieleen pesuaineen. Maku on pehmeä ja täyteläinen, jossa makeaa karamellisuutta. Muistuttaa tammitynnyrissä kypsytettyä. Kokeilemisen arvoinen.

Leffe Blonde, the best "supermarket" beer. It’s really soft, its biterness is almost not felt, it’s really smooth. A simple beer and one of the easiest beer to drink. It’s appearance is also very pleasant with its goldon colour.

330ml bottle. Appearance: Crystal clear, golden, moderate white head that dissipates. Aroma: Pear esters dominate. Apple present, with an underlying maltiness. Taste: Strong ester presence of pear, with apple, banana, and spice in the background. Underlying malt presence but esters are the main attraction here. Mouthfeel: Light to medium body, with moderate carbonation. Finish: fruit ester forward on the finish, with a slight metallic note. Overall: A showcase of fruity Belgian esters, but not an overall balance beer. After the ester punch, there is a strange metallic note. Rest of the beer is pretty straightforward with nothing significant about the malt profile. Decent blonde

8.99/6/11.2 oz at Meiers Troy. Served in a 23 oz Riedel Cabernet Sauvigon glass at 55 degrees F. Pours to a good head with a little splash; a harmonious nose of malted grain, umami, funk, rubbed polished wood, and delicate sweet orange peel; lovely fine mousse. Full nose confirms and builds harmony on these themes, adding a hint of sweet hay. Palate confirms and adds a little wool fat, with delicate, balanced, and fully savory finish. A true winner in my book. Keep on hand for my best friends. jht

Bottle. Dark yellow-orange colored, clear and sparkling with a white frothy lasting head. In the nose overripe fruits with notes of typical Weizen aroma and caramel sweetness. Taste is medium sweet with a bitter finish and well balanced. The flavor is quite complex but harmonic with caramel and hints of honey on the one and fruity and floral notes on the other hand. The medium body and creamy mouth-feel make the Blond a pleasant drinking experiance.

aroma is floral notes and sweetness. yellow with nice head. Taste is light-medium sweetness, alcohol dryness, no real bitterness. Finish is light sweetness. The problem with the beer is that nothing really balances the light sweetness except a bit of dryness. Sadly I think that this is the best beer I can find in Dubrovnik. Mediocre.

Full aroma with hops, fruit, and citrus. Clear and golden, with a short white head. Medium-sweet taste with a bit of bitterness and acid. It is not complex but full and round. Medium body, lively carbonation. Prickly finish. Good beer, easy to drink, always enjoyable.

Dit is nou een typisch voorbeeld van een gewoon lekker biertje. Niet supergoed, maar ook zeker niet slecht: gemiddeld dus.
