3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours yellow with thick white head that quickly diminishes. Aroma is fairly muted in this beer with hops predominating. Tastes is very hoppy with apricot flavors coming through as the beer warms. OK but not my favorite.

On tap- refreshing and very smooth. This is a nice summer beer but in general not a favorite style of mine.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap, Allen’s, Toronto. Beautiful golden colour, huge white head - great appearance. Strong citrus aroma. Taste had much more body than I expected - it is rather smooth, but I found it overly sweet and syrupy. Perhaps this could have been balanced off with a little more carbonation. With this unbalance, I really tasted the alcohol as I made my way through it. Still, it was a decent beer.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
very strong for a white beer, but I think that is the spirit of it. Nice golden colour, full of taste! Recommended!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft on the patio of a great little cafe in Villefranche, in the south of France. I was pleasantly surprised to find this nice Belgian ale on draft here. Blond color, slightly hazy with a creamy white head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty with a bit of spice. Flavor is nice, sweet and spicey with a refreshing bitter finish. Medium body and good carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours an amber body with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and spicy with some candy sugar, malt, and dark fruit coming through.Taste is sweet as well. More candy sugar, some yeast, sweented malt, dark fruits, and spices galore. Light hops towards the end. A flowery hint as well. Mouthfeel seems dominated by the carbonation and spice. Finish is spicy-sweet. Decent finish, indeed. Good beer considering it’s "macro" status.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 June 2004 - Light simplistic fruit with yeasty malt aroma. Low head retention, low suds and golden clear. Flavour starts sweet and has a light hop complexity, with slight metallic taste. Palate has a dry, crisp bitterness.
