3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The funniest thing about this beer is that my cousin brought it back for me from belgium, not knowing how widely available it is in the states. Oh well, it was still a cool thought. Light spices and yeast in the aroma. Clear golden brown body. Medium to full palate. Spices, yeast, and light malt dominate the taste with hints of cloves and banana. Enjoyable.

I was a little disapointed. It has a mild aroma and doesn’t look very beautiful. It tastes good, but nothing special. Now I know the origins of Bohemia Confraria, produced by INBev in Brazil some time ago. It is definately a macro beer.

Draft. Nice pale gold appearance with a good head. It has a crisp, clean almost bitter flavor. This is a good Belgian ale.

Nice dark yellow pour with a thick white head. Decent beer, very easy to drink, but nothing too exciting. Caramel/malt aroma and taste, but nothing that impresses me all that much. I actually thought it tasted more of a supermarket type beer than anything else.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Deep yellow with a dense head. Big nose of grains and straw and light yeast. Maybe a bit o’ polecat. Rich and thick. Spicey and notes of apricot and pear. Slightly syrupy. Full in the mouth. Maybe too much so. But very good overall.
