"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Bottle. High white creamy and long lasting head. Clear golden body. Sweet barley malt aroma. Very sugary and sweet fruity flaovr. Alcohol percentage seems just right. Aftertaste sugary and a bit sticky.

From tap. Pours deep orange/amber with a huge light brown head. Aroma is toffee and a fruity/yeasty note. Flavour is mainly malty caramel sweet, fruity and with some distinct note I’m not able to completely make out (almonds perhaps). Creamy mouthfeel. Bitter finish.

A moderate beer with almost no taste and no after taste. Inbev is not my favorite brewery in belgium. Try some good beers belgium brews enough of them but not inbev. Tasted in bottle and on tap. Only a 20 year bottle left at my place. But at that time brewed somewhere else.

pours a nice golden color, larger size head, pretty good beer overall not that hard to find, great example of a belgian blonde.

On tap in Le Tip Top bar in Duras. This is the session beer in this rather tacky but very enjoyable French watering hole. In between shaking hands with complete strangers and oggling the rather buxom barmaid I managed to throw down a couple of these, but went onto pastis after the overpowering sweetness became too much for me. There are the usual cloves and spices with yeast and vanilla pods drowned in a medium carb pale orange body.

Bottled 33cl. Pours a deep golden beer. Sweet, lots of almond flavours, some caramel, very yeasty. Some citrussy and grassy elements. This beer has a very weak metallic, grainy feeling to it. (corn). I miss the spicy touch. The almond notes really come through quite well. Slightly bitter, yeasty finish. Very mild, not bad. But it surely doesn’ t have much compelexity to it.
