Bottle. Pours a darkish orange colour, a fairly complex brew and a little bit spicy. Noy bad.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours clear golden orange with white head. Aroma is malt, banana, cloves, and musty. Flavor is banana, malt, coriander, orange. Decent, but this beer is too expensive for what you get.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a golden color with a fairly thick white head at first that goes away quickly. Aroma has some clove and a strange yeast like smell that seems odd for such a non bottle conditioned beer. Light citrus flavor, not a whole lot going on here. I can’t ever see myself buying this one again.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle 0.33l. Aroma is a pleasent mix of malt, hops and yeast; some light notes of citrus and cloves.
Clear, dark golden body with a average white head; good lacing and average lasting; smaal particles of average density.
Flavour is a light mix of sweet and acidic; the last one dominates the finish.
Medium body with a texture between watery and oily; average carbonation; slightly astringent feeling in the finish.
This beer is pleasent, surely above the average of the beers you can find in a supermarket.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Tall cap of white on a bright copper pour. The cap settles fairly quickly, but leave some attractive lace. An oceany, mineral character to the aroma. Pepper, figs, warm yeastiness. Very spicy. A rush of prickly spices in the flavor, then a touch of breadcrust, a bit of copper in the finish. As the glass progresses, it moves to more of a warm bread finish. Very light, with a substantial buzz of carbonation. Shy of brilliant, but a solid beer none-the-less.

Nice sweet aroma. The color was an amber with a thick white head. The flavor was of oranges and apples. The mouthfeel was very light, with very little aftertaste. I tend to like Belgian Ales anyway, so maybe I’m just biased towards this.

I grew up in Belgium, so I have been drinking Belgian beers for a long time...this is a good beer that hits all the right spots...tasty but not to heavy so you can tip a few without all the bloating and burping...it taste good, thats what matters...I love all the guys who make up stuff to sound like they know what they are talking about...it is what it is... a good beer....

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Some of the strangest reviews can be found for this particular beer. Either one guy is going on and on about the biology of what can called a "blond" or another guy is going on and on about trappist monks. Anyway, I had this on tap at Naja’s Place. I thought it was a very nice little beer. First taste reminded me of a nice marriage between a triple and a hefeweiss. A perfect summer beer. Surprised to see some of the poor reviews.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
[Bottled] Clear golden, airy head. Fruity toffee aroma. Sweet and medium bodied with fairly clean mouthfeel. Caramel and almond dominates. Slightly metallic finish with a dash of grassy bitterness. Perhaps not very complex, and certainly lacking a bit in malt character, but still a pretty good beer.

what makes this beer a blond? This is a well-marketed soft lager with some extra finish. The best products of Leffe lately are their glasses...
