"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Nice dark yellow pour with a thick white head. Decent beer, very easy to drink, but nothing too exciting. Caramel/malt aroma and taste, but nothing that impresses me all that much. I actually thought it tasted more of a supermarket type beer than anything else.

Deep yellow with a dense head. Big nose of grains and straw and light yeast. Maybe a bit o’ polecat. Rich and thick. Spicey and notes of apricot and pear. Slightly syrupy. Full in the mouth. Maybe too much so. But very good overall.

Pours golden with big white head. Aroma is yeasty and spicy. Flavor is dry and dusty. Body is light and refreshing. Okay.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2007 When left to choose between Leffe and Grimbergen blonds and I choose Leffe. I had this with my first meal in Paris and it was right on.

11.2 oz bottle. Pours a clear dark straw with a frothy head. Yeasty and fruity aroma. Flavor has mild spice, yeast, and sweet finish. Sorta does remind me of a wheat beer, but with more spice. Refreshing.

Has a yeasty, faintly smoky, malt/grain aroma that reminds me a little of a smoked German-style sausage. The body is a pale golden color and holds a fairly lasting, two finger thick, fluffy white head. Lots of yeast in the fore...almost Hefeweizen tasting, but with a bit more alcohol to it. Clean and slightly watery tasting throught he middle. Has some almost sweet cream notes toward the finish and hints of fresh apple and pear. I rather enjoy it.

UPDATED: APR 24, 2008 Clear golden ale with thick creamy head. Lovely clean hop aroma. Lacing. Big mouthfeel with nice but somewhat muddled flavor. A fair example, but not really noteworthy.

I was really disappointed in this beer. It has an interesting aroma, but honestly reminds me of trail bologna. It is just really odd. It has all the makings of a good beer - great full head, good finish, good mouthfeel, but the flavor is not at all what I am looking for in a beer.
