"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

I believe this is the most heavenly beer I’ve ever tried. I’ve only ever had it on tap.

Bottle... RBSG2005... Golden ale with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Good retention with thick, creamy lacework. The aroma and flavor are all about banana and clove. A little too sweet. Medium-bodied and creamy with lively carbonation. Lengthy, sweet, spicy finish.

Pours hazy golden and has a great sweet aroma of banana, citrus, sweet malts and that familiar musty Belgian yeast. Flavor is big on cloves and bananas and is rather sweet and dry. I know this is a mass produced InBev "Abbey" beer, but it’s still a decent brew.

Abbey de Abbey Belgian style-12 oz bottle-pours a thick white foamy head and the color is golden. Aroma is musty. Flavor is good for class, although a little on the light side. It tastes creamy, then cinnamon/banana comes through. Finishes OK.

Bottle at Andy’s. This is one beer that I have been avoiding all my life. Golden clear, thin white head. Banana clove aroma, much like a German wheat. Malty sweet banana clove flavors, that build. Malty sweet finish. A little too sweet, almost cloying. Flavors don’t build well when they warm up.

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2005 Bottle (330ml) - in tulip glass. Pours with aggressive white, foamy, rocky head - artful lacing - a clear, slightly amber gold. Aroma of sweet malt, cigarette ash, banana, touch of tart white wine and clove. Flavour is very light, winey malt, ash bitter, spices and just enough hops - quite balanced. Mouthfeel is slightly acidic and minerally. long-ish finish, bitter alcohol last on tongue. Great balcony beer (guess where I am now!)

Wow! First thing in the morning, you can’t beat this one. The flavor rolls off the palate while the aroma lingers joyfully in the mouth. This is one beer that WILL brighten any day. Enjoy and CHEERS.

UPDATED: JAN 26, 2006 This is one of the easiest non lager bottled beers there is to get in scotland, so therefore we drink quite a bit of it, and a few wetherspoons also do it on draft. Theres nohign special but it does the job, however can be a bit sweet at times, makes it not the smoothest to drink.

Bottle. Golden color and a creamy white head. Malty aroma. Dry, yet malty flavor. Sweet palate. Very nice.
