"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

UPDATED: JUN 22, 2004 Relatively bland for a Belgian, but still not bad. Seemed to be missing that "bigness" that I've come to enjoy in a Belgian as far as flavor and body are concerned.

From tap, golden yellow color. A bit of malt and hops in aroma, sweet candy sugar and a little spicy flavor. Medium to full body for a blond, I found this pretty enjoyable.

Deep gold color. Small head. Aroma is malty and slightly sweet. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. Malts are sweet and fruity. Hops are a touch spicy. Light and refreshing. Kind of mild for an Abbey Ale. Drinkable, but nothing special. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Simply beautiful. This beer wins the gold for subtelty. Pour vigorously and you will be rewarded with a light fluffy head lying on a pool of blonde heaven. The nose of hops and possibly oranges? Flavours abound but not one dominates the other. The beer is amazingly well rounded with a body that allows you to drink more than one. A great beer!

This was actually one of the best Blonds that I have ever tasted. Nice and crisp, light, and refreshing, this one really hit the spot.

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2003 Pale gold with amber shine. Medium white head, stable, lacey. Nose of hops, not very subtle however. Impression of candi-sugar. Taste is hopbitter - definitely bittering hops or extract. Some background sweetness - not malty. Warming up, appearance of burnt caramel. Rather dry. Harsh bitter aftertaste, a bit metallic. This is not a BAD beer. It is an unrefined beer. And terribly popular, spiting more complex, less accessible, and much more rewarding brews - by smaller firms. Rerating on 18/9/2003, this time from 75cl bottle. Much less bitter, not hoppy, more medicinal in flavour. It's not better, rather the opposite. Aftertaste is more fruity, a bit better all the same. Dryness remains.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2006 Pours translucent golden, can see shapes through the beer. Aroma is fishy, spiced, sweet. The taste is corny, malty, cheap sweetness. Medium body. This was one of my gateways beers but now its barely even worth the time.

Pours a beautifull deep golden colour topped by a huge white creamy head. This beer has a sweet aroma and sweet taste. Aftertaste is sweet and it's quite long lasting. It's one my 2 favourite beers (the other is BITburger) but i hate the fact that i don't get to drink it much since only a couple of pubs offer this beer in my area

Has a golden/amber color with a lot of carbonation and a spice smell. Taste is of sugar and spice, but nothing nice, well that's not true I just wanted to say that... Anyway the taste was pretty spicey and it finishes kind of fizzy. Overall not a bad Belgain, probably the most easy one to drink...
