COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg and bottle: Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

This beer has gone stale on me. It came in a 12 oz.bottle, and poured out a light yellow color. Straight slam into a pint glass only produced a slight head that quickly dissipated to small clumps of yeast for a head. Not much aroma here. Tasted like cardboard. It has gotten oxidized something fierce. Not the best tasting thing for a beer, especially a belgian ale. I won't be buying this again, that's for sure.

A golden beer with a loose white head that soon disperses. Distinct bubble gum aroma. Tastes of banana with a refreshing finish. A good summer BBQ beer, easily drunk for a 6.6.

A very easy "beginner" beer in the Belgian style...not a lot to say about it.

A burnt gold color with a medium white head. A pepper, fruit aroma. Sweet malt taste that has a somwhat spicy palate. Smooth, a good beer for the fall weather.

UPDATED: JUL 2, 2007 Bottled. Nice color and decent lacing. Doughy, yet light body. Warming finish.

Probably, it is the less interesting product in the Leffe family. It is a good beer, nevertheless.

Pours cloudy orange with a strong white head. The taste is very wheaty - as are most German Weiss beers. It's not terrible, but not my choice for enjoyable drinking.

Pale colour with a very large-bubbled head. Good smell, not too much going on, but definately not bad. Bland taste, once again, no complexities...but an all-around decent beer. Noticabley heavy bodied for a beer this light, but good to try at least once. Tasted on Tap at MacGregor's in Rochester, New York.

a very light belgain. good flavor but wasn't impressed by the color. i didn't think there was a fizzy yellow belian, but at least it was still a quality beer.
