"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

It was somewhat more balanced than in the bottle, less sweet-bitter. Light yellow, good nose. The yeast is there and sticking in the retaining head. Orangy and cloves are for teas not beer

UPDATED: APR 1, 2005 I like this better than many, apparently. Pours with a frothy, white head, moderate-low carbonation; fruity, doughy aroma; tangy, fruity, lighty malty-sweet and somewhat dry finishing abbey ale, tastes a little like a German pils without the bitter hopping. Not huge on flavor or complexity, but quite drinkable and delicious, a session Belgian. Like the Brune alot better, though. Not sure why this gets such low ratings by many....oh, yea, it’s an Interbrew......

Sweet, fruity, bready aroma. Hazy light yellow/gold color with an extremely sticky, white head. Sweet cinnamon and spice flavor. Very slight banana and apple flavors also present. Very friendly beer.

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2004 The beer pours out a very lite color with a lot of carbonation. The aroma is very fruity and sweet. It is very smoothe and goes down easy with a nice after taste. Not the best Belgian I’ve had, but not bad....I like Leffe Brown much better

Very light in color and highly carbonated. Great fruity-yeasty character. The carbonation blends nicely with the fruitiness to accentuate a subdued spiciness. Quite good.

A fluffy, fruity, wheat brew with a touch of spice/clove. A little bit more well-made than Hoegaarden.

Bottled, in Cyprus.
A redundancy rate that I had to use on this occasion. The selection in Cyprus was thin to say the very least and I’d been passing this by for a year choosing instead to take the more difficult rates first whilst they were there. Clear golden body with a medium to large head, dissipating. Coriander aroma that transitioned through to the flavour, accompanied by transient malt notes that could easily be missed if you weren’t paying attention.

UPDATED: AUG 8, 2004 A touch too sweet - something just isn't wonderful here. Looks great, smells good, but a touch too fruity. Worse on draft as well.

Color: a clear gold. Head: a nice, fluffy white. Aroma: sharp with spicy notes, sweet with citrus and fruit, peach, apricot. Palate is sweet and smooth, with full malt. Hops are playing it cool, but give a nice little tingle on the tongue. Light body, low carbonation, good texture. Overall, uncomplicated, fine, delicious, if unremarkable.

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2004 For an abbey it's a bit better then average but it's lacking in flavour and fairly one dimensional.
