COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Pours dark clear golden. Nose is yeast, zesty citrous, banana and caramel malt. Taste is light, fruity, citrous and yeast. Refreshing and drinkable Belgian ale with a nice fruity finish.

Chudwick (566) - Taylor Mill (KY), FRANCE - MAY 19, 2011
bottle in a tulip glass - pours golden with moderate white head. Lively effervescence. Aroma is malt and yeast. Not an impressive aroma to be honest. Lingering finish that won’t quit. In aftertaste I detect alcohol aroma. Definitely easy to drink and refreshing, but it lacks character to make it a great beer.

33 cl. bottle. Served at cool cellar temperature. Pours a medium, white head, over a clear dark gold (SRM 6) body.....nose is light apple, pear, touch of floral honey....taste is light sweet to start, with a bit of pear and apple, then light spices (clove, allspice) finishing dry and lightly bitter.....mouth feel is on the light of medium, carbonation medium. This is a nicely balanced, very drinkable, good tasting beer which meets its style exactly. BJCP 8/3/14/4/7

White head. Deep golden colour. Aroma is malty with fruity (apricots) and light spicy notes. Flavor is malty too with grainy and biscuits tones, ending in a sweet finish. Medium bodied.
