Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Jan 2007: Blind tasting at my brother-in-laws, poured into a Munich Hacker-Pschorr Brau Tulip Glass, my brother-in-law likes to test me! Impressive golden colour, full of life with a good white head. The aroma told me it was Belgian, a citrus, yet sweet smell that only their brews seem to have (in my limited knowledge). The taste followed the smell, very pleasant, as was the mouthfeel. The 0.33cl brown bottle was brought to me and I was amazed it was a Leffe Blond, if I had known, would the scores have changed? Most likely, I am not supposed to like beers from Inbev.

Fresh yeasty Belgian aroma of banana and clove. Peppery, spicy carbonation. Tastes like a pretty basic wort that doesn’t get in the way of the yeast, which is the standout flavour in the beer

Bottle from Alko. Amber color, full white head. Sweet, malty taste of a Belgian style beer with citrus, clove and some banana in finish. Excellent classic of Belgians beers.

Quite an extraordinary beer, golden colour, pretty clear, not messy at all. White lasting head. Light sweetness, medium body, I would say average/high carbonation, long finish. Pretty enjoyable on a nice evening alone or with company. I would certainly recommend it! One small drawback is certainly the usual price for a small bottle, especially in countries like the UK or Spain. It could make this beer non-affordable for a daily basis to many people!

Bottle, pours golden with a thick white head with good staying power. Lemony wheat aroma, with that characteristic Belgian yeast smell. Sweet malty crisp flavor, with Belgian wheat and lemon notes. Notes of almond. Slightly bitter finish.

330 ml bottle @ Götas Bar & Kök. Pours clear golden with a rather small frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving som trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and fruity with caramel, ripe pears, apples, orange zest, cloves, white sweet bread and hay. Taste is sweet and malty with bread, candi sugar, hay, lemon zest, pears and plums. Mouthfeel is slightly round, tiny sticky sweet and light to medium bodied. Finish is sweet and tiny bitter with bread, candi sugar, sweet fruit and spices.

Lots of banana-peel nose and taste. Carbonated white head. Very impressed with the quality of this supposedly-commercially-available beer.

330ml bottle. Clear golden orange with white head. Characteristic aroma with malt, sweet syrup. When you have tasted a Leffe, you will very soon recognize the next bottle. Flavor is even more of the sweet malt and caramel. Long aftertaste.

Kita (115) - Koper, SLOVENIA - APR 24, 2012
On tap in some Brussels’ pub. clear deep golden color with medium creamy white head and lively carbonation. Aroma of yeast, spicy hops, grains and some hints of honey. Sweet & sour malty flavor with herbal, fruity and yeasty notes. Very pleasant and refreshing mouthfeel, followed by light bitterness in the aftertaste. Full body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Leffe excellence...
