"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Bottle from Asda. 4 for £3! Clear, honey blonde colour. White, thin, lasting head. Tangy. Yeasty. Light spice. Taste is all of that, with a little dryness, and a light, alcoholic, estery finish. For that money, as good as you’re gonna get.

330ml brown bottle with a foil sealed cap, poured into a Duvel Tulip glass. Appearance is clear golden with a medium sized airy white head, that dissipated quickly leaving no lacing. Aroma of lemon peels, pears and banana. Flavour of lemon peels, wheat bread, pears and banana. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is medium bodied, soft texture and lively carbonation. A style typical Belgian Ale, uncomplicated flavours, highly drinkable and the alcohol is well masked.

Here’s a classic one. Pours a clear golden color and is topped with a decent white and lasting head. It has a sweet and fruity aroma with a faint alcohol smell added to it. The taste is straigtforward, some yeast is present together with mostly hops. Also some alcohol again. Nice and decent, although not my favourite. Luckily plenty other Leffe beers to try.

pours light gold with generous fluffy white head that leaves beautiful lacings. Smell is very sweet malt and yeast. Taste is very sweet no bitterness. Too sweet.

Pours a golden colour with a foamy white head. Strong aroma dominated by yeast with some fruity essences. Flavour is also very yeasty, but balanced nicely with malt sweetness. A small amount of spice. Very typical of a Belgian, but done well

Ljusgul lite grumlig med bra kolsyra och friska dofter och smaker. Ganska jästig smak! Ok öl!

Une bonne bière abordables avec un bon pouvoir désaltérant et qui respecte le goût commun à toutes les leffe.

For a blond, it’s solid and very drinkable on a warm spring day; however, it is certainly nothing over the top amazing. Aroma is sweet, bread, very faint spice. The taste is a little more interesting with some faint clove notes, faint banana, and lots of yeast and bread. The sweetness is very sticky on the palate and the finish is fizzy--just where you’d expect it from a Belgian.
