11.2oz bottle in a shaker. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of the Belgian spicy yeast and light malts. Flavor about the same, but very light compared to most Belgian beers. Worth trying, but not as good as a lot of Belgian beers.

Cette bière ne justifie plus les éloges que nous pouvions lui faire à l’époque.

I remember the first time I tried this beer. I thought it was so aweful. The next time I tried it was two years later. I have not regreted it. This beer has an excellent aroma, asweet Belgian taste that is somewhat heavy on the palate but makes a great finish. Great to just sip and enjoy.

Finally got around to trying this one and was pleasantly surprised as I usually am with these classics that have been overshadowed by newer, more hyped beers. It pours clear golden with a huge white head. The aroma is very nice and spicy with clove, vanilla, hints of banana. The flavor is sweetish with heavy spicy yeast and vanilla, cinnamon, clove, and a hint of cardboard. A nice choice if you want something a little lighter, but still full flavored and sweet.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 italarican (885) - Astoria, New York, USA - NOV 12, 2010
Bottle. Somewhat filtered gold with puffy white head. Lots of bubble gum in the nose with notes of wheat and white sugar. Mainly bubble gum. Flavor is bready with bubble gum (much more subtle than in the nose) and a touch of caramel. Full mouthfeel that’s soft and gentle. Bubble gum finish. Simple and one-dimensional but overall clean and enjoyable.
